Wonderful grown folk music/jazz club. Two item purchase per person requirement. With that being said, the food is wonderful and drinks are not watered down. Good atmosphere for a date night. Service was excellent and fast. The show was a tribute to Marvin Gaye & Teddy Pendergrass. It was excellent!
Keystone gets 4 1/2 stars from me. Visited Baltimore for the weekend and caught the 5pm show of the Joey Alexander Quartet. Performance was great. Location on the waterfront could not be better. Great atmosphere. We had minimal food only because we got there just before showtime, so can't offer much on the food besides the menu looked good.
Keystone Korner was an intimate experience, great customer service and food. The musical act was wonderful and the sound was great. Grown and Sexy crowd! I saved up for a wonderful affordable night and was not disappointed - we will be back.
Went to see a jazz band for the Miles Davis - Coltrane Centennial. The ambiance is nice. The seating is varied. Band was great! But they’re not residents so other people perform on other nights. There were signs reminding patrons to be silent. There was not a dance floor or space. It feels wrong to have music and not even a space for movement. I also didn’t enjoy having to be silent. It takes from having an engaged audience that can fully react and respond to performers. It felt more like a restaurant with music than a space centered around music.
My partner loved the food. Mussels and oysters Rockefeller. It tasted interesting to me. I enjoyed it even though the flavor profiles were unexpected. I’ll visit again if the experience is free or paid for lol.
The desserts were my favorite part. My partner had the banana bread pudding and liked it. I had the ice cream which had cool flavors.
Food was really good. Lady of sax was great. A surprise song unscripted called "Even Me" Performed. Out of body & one of those "you had to be there" Experience...WOW
