This is hands down my FAVORITE restaurant in the city. I first dined here in 2018 and try to make it back for as many special occasions as I can. I just went back recently with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and we had the most exceptional meal, as always.
We did the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing. Each bite was better than the last, and the wines were lovely. We loved every single course. Our special occasion was noted by the hostess, our waiter, and sommelier. We felt extremely well taken care of and special! Our waiter even sent us home with the recipe of the starter soup once she heard us raving about it. I can't wait to try to make it at home!
I feel like this is such a sleeper hit in the city! Everyone I have brought here over the years has absolutely loved their meal + experience. But so many people have not even heard of this restaurant when I talk about it (and I'm always talking about it).
Do yourself a favor and dine here, it is SO good. I already can't wait to go back.

The Burrata chat, Pav Bhaji, and Papdi chat were all delicious.
The Tawa Pannner had a unique touch with the bottle guard, and the Potato Kofta was also great. We also had black dal with Nann, which was outstanding. The Shrimp rice and chicken meatball curry were fantastic.
Overall, we had a wonderful brunch experience.
We were a group of five, and we managed to try most of the menu items.
I highly recommend it for a great brunch with friends!

Indian Accent
I walked into the restaurant expecting a typical messy Indian buffet. That’s not what I got.
It is a hot day and I’m wearing shorts and a t shirt and I am woefully underdressed. The crowd is dressed nicely, and looks like they must work in the area. The decor is sophisticated, with gold and beige walls and a high ceiling. Jazz on the playlist.
The amuse bouche was a delicious soup accompanied by some strange dumplings filled with some kind of cheese. The first ordered dish was a white sweet potato with star fruit. The second was a paneer, but prepared in an unusual way. The dessert was a black rice pudding and cake with almonds and rose petals.
I’ve been eating Indian food for about 50 years and I have never seen these dishes. Innovative and tasty with impeccable service.

The food at Indian Accent was undoubtedly well prepared, beautifully presented, and full of interesting flavors. The service was also professional and attentive throughout the meal.
That said, I left feeling somewhat disappointed by the overall dining format. Couple of dishes were absolutely avoidable and tasted as if made at home. For a restaurant positioned as a premium tasting experience, the portions are extremely small, which makes the meal feel less satisfying than expected.
My biggest criticism is the menu structure itself. Having to choose just one dish from each course category feels limiting, especially when there are so many interesting options on offer. Part of the appeal of a restaurant like this is exploring a range of flavors and signature creations, but the format prevents guests from getting a truly well-rounded experience unless they return multiple times. Given the portion sizes, it can feel like you're paying for the opportunity to choose rather than actually experience the breadth of the menu.
It's a good restaurant with talented chefs, but the combination of very small portions and a restrictive tasting format took away from what could have been a much more memorable dining experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Indian Accent. The vibe is polished but still warm, and the service felt Michelin-caliber. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional without being stuffy.
We selected the three course choose-your-own menu, and our biggest challenge was deciding what to order because there were so many tempting options. The food was thoughtful and creative while still keeping the Indian flavors recognizable.
Our reservation time was the latest available so we could make dinner after a Broadway show. If I had one small critique, I would have appreciated a little more time between courses. The pacing felt slightly quick for a meal like this, although I suspect that had more to do with the late hour of our reservation than the service itself.
Overall, it was a great experience with an excellent atmosphere, beautiful food, and particularly impressive service. I would definitely return.
