I had a fantastic experience at Hai Ge Ji Hainanese Chicken Rice! The staff here are incredibly warm and friendly, making you feel completely welcome the moment you walk in.
I got myself the roasted chicken rice set meal, and the taste is very authentic. The roasted chicken was perfectly tender with beautifully glazed skin, served right alongside a classic braised egg. The set is incredibly generous and complete, coming with a large plate of crisp bean sprouts, a comforting bowl of clear soup, and fluffy fragrant rice. They also provide the essential trio of dipping sauces: a punchy chili, fresh ginger, and thick dark soy sauce to perfectly complement the meal.
I highly recommend checking this spot out if you want a delicious, authentic chicken rice experience paired with top-tier service!
Brought my parents to try a Muslim-owned, celebrity couple Chinese-style chicken rice shop—and we did not regret it one bit! Honestly, it’s the best I’ve tasted so far.
The menu is impressively wide, the food is incredibly tasty, and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable, and the service staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. The whole place has a cosy, comfortable setting too.
We especially loved the chap chye and the youtiao sotong—both were absolutely delicious. The chicken skin sauce is so unique, and the rice is perfectly fragrant. Truly top notch!
I’m so glad we gave this place a try—my parents enjoyed it so much, which made the experience even more special.

First time trying their Hainanese Chicken Rice! Loved all food we tried! Placed was full house when we arrive but service was fast & efficient! We we’re greeted n seated within 5mins from arriving! Place was cool & vibe was nice! Will come back!

Came in on a whim, and glad we did! Ordered x2 sets of chicken rice with extra roasted chicken to try both steam and roasted. Also ordered a dessert (which wasn’t overly sweet) and everything was delicious, served fresh and quickly.
Staff were attentive and quick to help, as well as tidy and clean constantly.
Worth a visit! Also is Halal & easy to find!

Decent halal chicken rice. The rice could be more fragrant and flavourful, and the steamed chicken could be a little more tender and silky.
The sides were better than the chicken rice sets. Especially enjoyed the stuffed youtiao and chicken skin. The latter was a tad too salty but nonetheless pretty addictive.
Ordering was easily done via QR code and the food didn’t take long to be served thereafter.
