Without a doubt, this was the worst restaurant experience of our entire trip to Italy.
From the moment we arrived, we did not feel welcome. We were the first guests seated in the downstairs dining area, yet every group that arrived after us was placed right next to us, despite the room being almost empty. Instead of using the available space, they crammed everyone into one corner, making the atmosphere feel unnecessarily crowded and uncomfortable.
We started with the bruschetta, which was dripping with oil and so overloaded with vinegar that it was practically inedible. After we complained, we received a new portion, which was better, but still bland and disappointing.
Then came the main issue. We waited almost 50 minutes for our food while several tables that had arrived 20–30 minutes after us were served first. We felt completely ignored.
The burgers were acceptable, but the buns were extremely dry.
The steak was an absolute disaster. I asked for it medium, but the waitress told me they could only serve it medium rare, which I accepted. The first steak I received was a tiny, thin, overcooked, and very dry piece of meat. After sending it back, I was served another steak that was almost completely raw in the center. When I pointed this out, the staff seriously tried to convince me that this was medium rare. The photos speak for themselves. Anyone who has ever eaten a medium-rare steak can clearly see that this was nowhere close.
Even after complaining a second time, the replacement steak was still raw. At that point I simply gave up because the staff struggled to understand English, and it became obvious that the discussion was going nowhere. I ended up eating it because I didn’t want to waste any more time arguing.
The roasted potatoes were just as disappointing. Some were rock hard, others were burnt black, and many were so greasy that oil literally squirted out when you bit into them.
The service made the experience even worse. The young waitress ignored us multiple times. Even when we made eye contact and raised our hands to get her attention, she deliberately looked away or served other tables first. Only after calling out to her did she finally come over, and even then she showed little empathy or understanding for our complaints.
The only positive part of the evening was the Indian waiter, who was polite, friendly, and genuinely tried to help. He was the only member of staff who made us feel respected.
In the end, we paid €78 for three main courses and drinks. For the quality of both the food and the service, this price is outrageous. Throughout our stay in Naples, we had far better meals, much friendlier service, and paid significantly less.
This was by far the biggest disappointment of our trip. Poor service, excessive waiting times, overpriced food, and staff who refused to acknowledge obvious mistakes. We strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
