Visited Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan during my trip and it was definitely a unique experience compared to a regular Starbucks. The location in Piazza Cordusio is impressive, set inside a historic building with high ceilings, marble details and an industrial-style design. You can watch the coffee roasting process while inside, and the smell of fresh coffee fills the whole place.
It was very busy when we visited, but everything still felt organised. Staff were friendly and spoke good English, which was helpful for tourists. There is seating across different levels, although it can take some time to find a table during peak hours.
The drinks and food are more expensive than a normal café in Milan, but the experience is clearly designed to be something different from a standard coffee shop. We paid around €7–8 for specialty drinks and €5–7 for pastries. They also sell exclusive Milan merchandise, coffee beans, cups and souvenirs.
The venue was clean, modern and tourist friendly, with free Wi-Fi, card payments accepted throughout, and well-maintained facilities. The atmosphere in the evening was especially enjoyable, with people relaxing after shopping near Duomo.
Worth visiting once if you are in Milan, especially for the atmosphere and the overall experience.
The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano is much more than a regular Starbucks. it’s an experience worth visiting, even if you’re not a huge coffee drinker. The space is beautiful, with coffee roasting happening in front of you, creating a unique atmosphere that’s quite different from a typical café.
During my visit, I ordered the Iced Smoked Butterscotch Latte, the Iced Pistachio Praline Oat Latte, and a fresh berry tart. The Smoked Butterscotch Latte immediately brought back memories of the one I had when the first Starbucks Reserve store opened at CentralWorld in Bangkok years ago. It had the same rich, smoky caramel flavour with a smooth coffee finish—nostalgic and just as enjoyable as I remembered.
The Pistachio Praline Oat Latte was also excellent. The pistachio flavour came through nicely without being overly sweet, and the oat milk complemented the espresso well. The berry tart was fresh, buttery, and light, making it the perfect dessert to enjoy alongside the drinks.
Prices are higher than at a regular Starbucks, but that’s expected for a Reserve Roastery. The quality of the drinks, the desserts, and the atmosphere make it worthwhile. If you’re visiting Milan, I highly recommend stopping by, not just for the coffee but for the overall experience.

An absolutely amazing place and one of the best attractions in Milan! ☕✨ Even if you’re not a coffee lover, this place is a must-visit. The building is stunning, the interior design is beautiful, and watching the coffee roasting process makes the whole experience unique and memorable.
The coffee was excellent, and the desserts and pastries were fresh and delicious. 🥐🍰 There is a wide variety of drinks and food to choose from, and everything is presented with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing, making it a perfect place to spend some time with friends or family.
The staff were welcoming and professional, and the service was impressively fast despite how busy the café was. 👏 Prices are a little higher than a regular Starbucks, but you’re paying for a premium experience that’s completely different from any other branch.
I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Milan. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss! 🇮🇹❤️

An unforgettable experience! The EDEN ELIXIR was a masterpiece - maraschino hints from Milano Roastery coffee, cherry notes of Porto, elderflower from Trentino, fig leaves liqueur, blackberries, and coffee all weaving into a flavour journey like no other. The dried fig pairing before the last sip was pure genius. On top of that, the waiter was incredibly friendly, taking time to introduce the food and drinks with passion and knowledge, which made the whole visit even more special. Atmosphere welcoming, service attentive, and craftsmanship truly world-class. Highly recommended!

This is unlike any Starbucks I've ever visited!! The Milan location is truly one of a kind, with breathtaking architecture, elegant interiors, and a design that perfectly blends modern style with Italian craftsmanship. It feels more like a premium coffee destination than a typical Starbucks branch.
What makes it even more special is the coffee experience. Their freshly roasted coffees are exceptional, and the Hazelnut Bianco Latte is a must-try. The Espresso Martini (non-alcoholic coffee version, where available), cold brew, and artisanal Princi pastries, especially the cornetti and focaccia, are among the highlights that make the visit memorable.
The atmosphere, attention to detail, and quality of the food and drinks set this location apart from every other Starbucks I've been to. Whether you're a coffee lover or simply appreciate beautiful design, this is a must-visit in Milan, Italy.
Note: The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano, the Hazelnut Bianco Latte and Princi bakery items are among its most popular offerings. The Espresso Martini is only available if the cocktail bar is operating and serving alcoholic beverages.
