Best Times to Visit
Reservations are required for this fine-dining experience. Saturday lunch is a popular option, and the tasting menus typically last 2 to 2.5 hours, making it suitable for special occasions or when ample time is available.
We had a wonderful experience at Farmlore. We were a group of 3, 1 vegetarian and 2 non vegetarian. The 10 course tasting menu was superbly served. A lot of ingredients, great presentation and outstanding service. Overall, it’s definitely a must visit place if you are a foodie.
In the meats served, the duck could have been better. I couldn’t really find much flavor in it. The rabbit meat was very well done! Fish fillet / Lobster as well, I felt was not as tender as I had hoped but the sauces made up for that. Hot chocolate was great.
Lots of things to consider before you decide to go to Farmlore. It’s not a place you can just up and leave. It’s carefully planned for, just like the menu is for planned you. The flavour profile of this month’s menu were incredible. A bite transports you to exactly where it was intended. The play of flavours and ingredients, the passion and innovation, precision and execution of concept to reality is such a breath of fresh air. It’s an experience, one I will definitely be back for, once chef JE has the next menu rolling.
Some of the food in the pictures- half eaten as we were so excited to dig in and explore the food.

Visited for Saturday lunch and sat at the chef's counter, an excellent spot for those who really want to be immersed in the experience!
The restaurant is located to the north of the city, not too far from the airport. On arrival it's a short walk through the working farm to the beautifully designed restaurant.
The Saturday lunch tasting menu took about two hours and included course after course of delectable farm to table cuisine. Presentation was also a strong point, every dish was perfectly presented by the skilled staff.
A variety of drinks are available to complement the experience, including pairing options if you don't want to think about it.
If there is one area for improvement, I would encourage Farmlore to provide a printed copy of the menu after the meal for diners to take home. It serves as a great memento of the experience and allows you to look deeper into the dishes you liked the most.
Chef Johnson and team have created something pretty special here and it's absolutely worth a visit!

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Farmlore, and it was truly a unique culinary experience. The evening began with a warm welcome, and since reservations are required, the entire experience felt intimate and well-curated from the start.
What stood out immediately was their "Farm to Table" concept. Before the meal began, the team introduced us to their philosophy and explained how the ingredients are sourced directly from their farm. Throughout the 10-course tasting menu, each dish told a story. The staff carefully explained the origin of the ingredients, the inspiration behind each course, and how the flavors were thoughtfully curated.
The attention to detail was remarkable—not just in the presentation and taste, but also in the storytelling that accompanied every course. Knowing where the ingredients came from and understanding the journey from farm to plate made the meal feel much more meaningful.
The service was exceptional, with knowledgeable staff who were passionate about the concept and eager to share insights about each dish. Overall, Farmlore offers more than just a meal; it delivers an immersive dining experience that celebrates sustainability, local produce, and creativity.
A memorable experience that I would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a thoughtfully crafted fine-dining journey.

We’re still reeling from how incredible the entire experience at Farmlore was. The team were just wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we (reluctantly) left. It genuinely felt like an experience in every sense of the word. The space itself is very chic and intimate (holding a max of around 20 people I believe), which makes it feel like the restaurant is putting on a private show just for you.
Now, to the most important part: the food. Incredible is truly the only word I have. I’ve been to several fine dining restaurants and worked my way through more prix fixe menus than I can count, and the food at Farmlore is undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever tried. Every course was thoughtfully conceived and even more thoughtfully explained - you’re not just eating, you’re being told a story, and what a delicious story it is. The flavours are deeply rooted in India, and even the wine pairing (the locavore option) features wines from Indian vineyards, a touch I absolutely loved. The team also brought out a cake for my grandma, which was a beautifully sweet gesture. And we ended the night with boozy gummies, chocolate, and a personalised gift that I won’t spoil, but it made our hearts very, very happy. A practical note for those who need it: Farmlore does have wheelchair access, which is always worth knowing.
Farmlore is a definite 10/10. Already plotting our return.
