An unforgettable dining experience at Ever by Chef Curtis Duffy in Chicago’s Fulton Market. The 9-course tasting menu was a symphony of flavors—every course was beautiful and exceptional, making it impossible to pick a favorite. Our nonalcoholic pairings were just as impressive. Andrew and the entire team provided warm, professional service, and the kitchen tour at the beginning set the tone for a magical evening. Every detail was flawless.

Ever Restaurant was an amazing overall experience. The food exceeded my expectations, with beautifully presented dishes and incredible flavors throughout the meal. The salmon and lamb were especially impressive and really stood out. The service and pacing were also excellent, making the whole dining experience feel smooth and memorable!

GREAT SETTING - ELEVATED EXPERIENCE - SOME ADJUSTMENTS REQUIRED I’ll start off by saying the entrance through the kitchen at the start is such a wonderful experience. Generally speaking the food, and setting were top notch, I’ll skip to the “adjustments”. First, I felt I would want more engagement from the staff. Our host, who would explain every dish seemed to be disengaged and disconnected from our presence. Almost bothered if we asked a question. One of my biggest gripes was no cocktail menu. Not even suggestions were provided. Apparently there is no cocktail menu if you opt out from the wine pairing. Our host was far less than helpful in helping us navigate this. Something else for an experience at this level. Some of the garnishes were bruised or withered. When at this level of detail and price point I would expect the attention to detail to be higher. Note cilantro part of the soup on the edge of the bowl in my attached photo. The end experience is really fun and nostalgic. Without spoiling the experience for others brings the experience down to a grounded level before departing the establishment. Perhaps it was an off night for the staff. But at nearly $1000 for two people and two stars. Adjustments may be required.

This is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants that I have been to. The service is great. The food is delicious. The fish, pork, and Wagyu were the most standout dishes of the night. I usually dislike Wagyu due to the extreme fattiness, but they make it right here.
