I really enjoyed this place the owner had a lot of energy and I loved it. The store was clean and bright. I tried the classic ice cream. I did do a taste test and I ended up with both butter pecan and avocado. Butter pecan was my favorite. I ate onsite where the orange tables are located, if you do decide to eat outside you have to come back through the store to exit. I really enjoyed myself, I will be back. They have great and unique ice cream.

We got to create our own flavor of ice cream, and let me tell you… it was SO good. Definitely my new favorite late-night sweet treat.
The owners taught us so much and made the whole experience incredibly fun. You can truly tell everything they do in the shop is made with love. As if that wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to taste all the flavors they currently have… and let’s just say I already know what I’ll be ordering all summer. 😉

I moved to Midtown a few months ago and have walked by Ice Cream Detroit so many times when it was closed. I was glad to walk by today when it was open, and I was immediately greeted by the friendly owner. She introduced each flavor and encouraged me to sample them. I love that every flavor tastes fresh and balanced, and the alcohol infused flavors are subtle but distinct. I ended up buying a pint with 2 flavors: peach basil infused with honey peach brandy, and espresso martini ice cream with vodka and coffee liquor. Both flavors were delicious, and I look forward to the oat milk passionfruit vegan ice cream flavor that is coming in a couple of days!
Staff were super friendly and the butter pecan ice cream was really good! It was rich and creamy but not too sweet! Handmade ice cream and a very chill patio atmosphere.
