between the flat iron and Miami locations, my fiancé and I have been to COTE more times than we can count and I can’t believe this is first review I’m leaving!! This place so special to us!! it’s basically become tradition at this point that we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc here !! from the food and delicious flavors of all the meats, sides, apps, etc, to the impeccable service, to the attention to detail, every time we come the experience is so amazing and most of all we feel like family every time we come in. today we came to celebrate multiple events, my fiancé’s birthday, two engagements, and a marriage, and cote made the whole night so memorable. they offered us champagne to toast and a delicious pork belly appetizer to kick off the night. we honestly can’t wait to come back. THANK YOU COTE 🔥💖🥩❤️
Dinner at COTE Korean Steakhouse was simply outstanding.
I had the dry-aged Rib Eye, and the quality of the beef was exceptional — perfectly cooked, rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. The dish was served with unique salads and accompaniments, including fresh green leaves and sticky rice, allowing you to create your own small wraps with the meat. A fun and delicious experience.
Every bite was incredible, and the steak itself was truly wow.
I paired the meal with an excellent Napa Valley red wine, which complemented the beef perfectly.
Great atmosphere, professional service, amazing wine program, and absolutely worthy of its Michelin recognition. One of the best steak experiences I’ve had in New York.”

We've heard so much about how great Cote is over the years and tonight was finally the time to try it. While none of us felt like going out on a Wednesday night, including the birthday boy, we decided to order takeout from this establishment instead.
The steaks came packaged beautifully and were cooked to perfection. Most importantly though, both the Ribeye and the Butcher's Bowl tasted great. The nice thing about ordering takeout from Cote is that you can actually try the food here. I hear it's still very hard to get a reservation. DoorDash made the experience a breeze!

Total (before tip) for two people 03/2026: $471.44
Kingpin drink: $24
ZBiotics drink: $11
Butcher’s Feast (for 2): $164
A5 Wagyu tasting (for 2): $170
Steak & Eggs (2): $64
COTE absolutely lives up to the hype, but it’s definitely a splurge.
The portions are generous, and the experience is clearly designed with sharing in mind. This is one of those places where going with a group gives you the best value and variety as just the 2 of us couldn't finish all the sides. The Butcher’s Feast is a great baseline, but adding the A5 Wagyu tasting takes it to another level.
Highlights: the hanger steak was incredibly flavorful, and the Kobe wagyu from the Wagyu flight was the best. It was rich, buttery, and worth trying at least once in your life (or every time you go).
Service was polished and attentive, and the whole experience felt elevated without being overly stiff.
One thing to note: it’s surprisingly difficult to get a reservation for just two people (you can only book the first time slot 5PM or after 10:45PM) and those time slots disappear fast as soon as they open. Larger parties seem to have more availability, so if you’re planning ahead, it may actually be easier (and more fun) to go with a group.

COTE is definitely more of a one-time experience spot for me. It wasn’t bad at all, and most of the food was enjoyable, but I do think it’s a bit overhyped. I went for Valentine’s Day last year and ordered the Butcher’s Feast, plus the wagyu paella add on which was easily the standout dish of the night and absolutely delicious. Some cuts of meat were much better than others, while the stews were unfortunately a bit bland.
Overall, I think there are better steakhouses and Korean restaurants in NYC, but if you’re looking for the Michelin-star experience, the price point wasn’t unreasonable. It’s not that hard to get a reservation either. The staff and service were excellent, which definitely added to the experience.
