A massive, heartfelt thank you to Isha and Mark, who went above and beyond to make our evening so memorable. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and warm. We just had our gathering at Carna a few days ago and I have to say it’s been a long time since I last came across such a great restaurant. The view was spectacular and remember to book the window seat if available. We had pre ordered the butcher menu and it was value for money. We had upgraded the first main to sausage which I think was ok but the upgraded steak on our second main was fantastic. However, the most impressive part was our server that night, ISA!!! She was really the gems. She was not just very attentive to your needs, but being proactive as well. Gave brilliant suggestions on our orders plus helped taking hundreds of photos like we were models. If I could make a remark on my booking, I would request if we could have Isa to take care of us for the night. Thank you Isa!!!

We celebrated a birthday at CARNA on 1/7/2026, and Fung made it one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. His professional hospitality, gentle check-ins, spot‑on wine recommendations, and thoughtful conversation elevated the whole night.

After reading so many 5-star Google reviews praising the exceptional service, we were genuinely excited to dine here. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite and without exaggeration, it was one of the worst service experiences I've had at a fine dining restaurant.
The welcome drink was a nice touch, but everything seemed to go downhill once we were seated. Throughout the evening, the staff appeared to be constantly rushing around, yet whenever we needed assistance, it was almost impossible to find anyone. They all looked incredibly busy, but the overall operation felt disorganised rather than efficient. At one point, while a staff member was pouring our wine, another staff member accidentally walked into her. It summed up the chaotic atmosphere, which is not something you would expect from a restaurant of this calibre.
During dinner, we accidentally dropped some food onto the floor and onto a shirt. That was entirely our fault, and we immediately cleaned up what we could. However, what surprised us was that during the several minutes we spent cleaning ourselves and the floor, not a single staff member came over to check if we were okay, offer napkins, or ask if we needed any assistance. It's not their fault that we dropped the food, but the complete lack of awareness and attentiveness was quite astonishing.
Similarly, throughout the meal, no one checked in to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything.
The final interaction unfortunately reflected the same level of service. When paying the bill, the staff member handed me the receipt and pen for signing but immediately dropped the pen on the floor. He simply picked it up and handed it back to me without wiping it or replacing it with a clean one, expecting me to use it. It may seem like a small detail, but in a fine dining restaurant, these details matter.
To top it all off, when we left, no one acknowledged us or even said goodbye.
As for the food, it was perfectly acceptable but fairly average. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but nothing was particularly disappointing either. The food alone wouldn't stop us from returning, but the service certainly would.
Overall, this experience fell well below the standard we expected, especially considering the glowing reviews. Based on our visit, I simply cannot understand how the service receives such consistent praise.

An amazing dining experience from start to finish! The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, while the tiramisu was one of the best we’ve had. Huge thanks to Isa and Mark for their warm and attentive service. Isa even kindly offered to take photos for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We also loved how the bartender carefully explained the signature cocktails and their ingredients, making the experience even more enjoyable. Great food, excellent drinks, and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend Carna, and we can’t wait to return!
