Camp Washington Chili is truly such a special Cincinnati staple. I’ve had so many wonderful memories there with family, friends, and every visit feels comforting and familiar. The staff has always been incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. From the salads and breakfast to the coneys and chili bowls, everything has that classic, comforting feel that keeps you coming back.
The restaurant itself has such a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, and you can really feel the history behind it. ❤️ They support their community and really have a strong team to do so.
(Embarrassed to admit but did have it for lunch and dinner Friday 9/4/26 😂)
Really wished I caught the names of the two ladies helping my dad and I out.. always refilled our diet cokes, and it was my dad’s first time there in a long time. Just relaxing to have amazing waitresses like that- even got lunch to go for Saturday LOL.
Thanks again ladies and gents!
There’s a reason this place has stood the test of time! Great food, amazing service, and old school diner vibe. Been here many times and it never disappoints. If you come during a busy time you may have to wait a bit but it’s worth it! I didn’t get a picture of the chicken and dumplings since we got it to go but it was delicious!!

Staple in the Cincinnati area, first time having their chili, got a 4 way w/beans and a met chili dog and classic chili dog. My partner got a 5 way and a chili cheese. It was good but nothing crazy but the old school diner vibe was very nice and worth going just for history of it. Service was slow to get boxes and checked out but It seemed like they got a big rush before we came in. Got a coconut pie and a chocolate shake and it was amazing so definitely try out their pies and shakes.

A Cincinnati classic. Must say for the chili itself I prefer Skyline BUT the portions were huge and it was cheaper. They are more of a diner, offering breakfast, double deckers and other things. I tried their gyro and honestly it was BETTER than most Greek places in Town. A nice change of pace!

Asked several Cincinnati locals where they go to for delicious chili and several said "Camp Washington" is number 1 on their list.
For an establishment that's been around since 1940, Camp Washington appears shiny new, bright, and well maintained. Excellent, QUICK, friendly service and the chili bowls were outstanding! Free parking, but not a lot of available spots.
