Cafe

We recently visited this lovely café in Edinburgh for breakfast and had such a wonderful experience. It’s in a great location — perfect for starting the day before exploring the city. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with cozy seating and charming décor that added to the overall experience. The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Everything was beautifully presented and clearly made with care. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after.

We ordered 2 fish and chips and 3 vegetarian dishes. Fish and chips was so warm and good. However coming to vegetarian dishes, it was mostly potato based and cannot really consider as a fine vegetarian replacement. The place was crowded, service was fine. When considering the vegetarian option it was lean and I would refrain from it.

I stopped by for a late breakfast today, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee especially the Americano was excellent. The service was warm and welcoming, and everyone made us feel well looked after. We were also pleasantly surprised with some complimentary sweets, and even a bag of chips with the bill, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. Thank you for your great hospitality. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!

We stopped by Cafe Edinburgh for breakfast and found it to be a decent spot to start the day. I ordered the breakfast roll with bacon, hash brown, and cheese, while my wife had the breakfast roll with beef sausage and cheese. We also tried the almond croissant and cappuccinos. The bacon, hash brown, and cheese roll was the highlight of the meal. The combination of crispy bacon, melted cheese, and the hash brown made for a satisfying and flavorful breakfast. The beef sausage and cheese roll was okay, but it didn’t have the same level of flavor or wow factor. The almond croissant was decent, though nothing particularly memorable. It was enjoyable enough, but there are definitely better pastries to be found around Edinburgh. The cappuccinos were also okay, although they were a little too milky for our preference and lacked some of the stronger coffee flavor we were hoping for. Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was friendly. While it wasn’t a standout breakfast destination, it was a pleasant experience and a solid option if you’re looking for a quick breakfast and coffee in the city.

The food was absolutely delicious and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers. I would definitely recommend this café to anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch. I’ll certainly be coming back!
