This McDonald’s is absolutely amazing, of course the Rome maccies has a statue inside, all of the decor as you come in looks so fancy!! So glad we came here, we just couldn’t miss it! The staff are great and we’re all super helpful, the food was also great, we love getting to try McDonald’s menus in different countries and we genuinely think Italy is up near the top for their menu options! This shop really is fab, there’s a whole area for desserts, and then even more room upstairs where you can get proper food. We loved it and would definitely come back!!☺️🇮🇹😍🍟🍔
It is not your typical American style McDonald's... it is way better! The restaurant is huge and very clean. We ordered 2 salads, a mcdouble a cheese burger fries and a happy meal with 4 drinks. The food tasted amazing and the portions were perfect. There is a cafe area that looked amazing. Definitely should make a stop even if you are just going in to see how huge it is. It keeps going on and on!!!

We came in here directly after the Spanish Steps during summertime so it was very hot and the AC was refreshing. They had a bakery section in the front with coffee and pastries if you want to get a quick grab-and-go. In the back, they had a spacious lobby with multiple kiosks where you can place your order and plenty of seating.
For my meal I got the Crispy Chicken McWrap that tasted really similar to the ones in America. I got the spicy shaker fries which come with a bag and a spice packet, but they forgot the packet so I had to go back to the counter to ask for it. They were super busy as it was packed during prime lunch time so it took a while for them to notice me but I got it with no issues.
For dessert, I was mainly curious about the McPops and Pistachio McFlurry as we don't have it in the states.
I got both the custard and caramel McPops, which they forgot to give me. I'm not sure if this was supposed to happen as the bakery and kitchen were two separate entities manned by different servers. I went to the bakery with my receipt and got the McPops with no issues. They were given to me in a plate so I believe it is one of those situations where you pick up the dessert after you finish your meal? I'm not too sure about that though.
I saw that they had a limited time Dubai McFlurry so I opted to get that instead of the Pistachio McFlurry. It was one of the best McFlurries I had in a long time! Unlike the American McFlurries, where the toppings aren't mixed in and only settled at the top, the pistachio, kataifi, and chocolate were well incorporated throughout the paper cup, even all the way at the bottom! However, the chocolate is more of a syrup so it got hard and there was not as much kataifi as I would've liked, but it was great quality for a McDonald's. The pistachio syrup was nice and runny and wasn't overly sweet.

Very nice decoration. Food was tasty. Staff was polite. The toilets though were dirty😂😭 PS. The tiramisu was pretty decent and tastier than many other places .

•This is the first and most famous McDonald’s in all of Italy, opened back in 1986!
•Location: It is tucked away at Piazza di Spagna 46/47, just to the left as you face the Spanish Steps. Look for the relatively small entrance—the 'museum' feel is all inside!
•The interior is marvelous. With the frescoes, statues, and marble pillars, it genuinely feels like eating in a gallery. The breakfast items were delicious and made with care. We will definitely be back when we return to Rome!
