Went to Box Social with my husband for the first time last night. We were staying in a nearby AirBnB and the hosts recommended it. Sweet spot and yummy drinks! Fun menu as well with Pride month theme options. We had forgotten a pair of sunglasses and a map 🤦🏻♀️😅 on our table and the server ran down 2 blocks to give them back to us! Super sweet and thoughtful. Thank you!! We plan on returning when we’re back in the neighborhood.
Definitely recommend this place if you are in town. The place is adorable, and the people are even better. We went here for a girls' day out, and we had the best service ever and some delicious drinks. You will love this place. We will definitely be back.
Food ranging between "ok" to awful. Nice cocktail options, lots of unique choices. My friends and I all got different dishes. Some were passable but the mac and cheese was truly the worst pasta dish I have ever had in my life. It tasted like soft cardboard in a flavorless gravy. For $15, I don't know how someone could make it worse than Kraft mac n cheese. My friend got the buffalo wings and they added some kind of fruit glaze/flavor to it which did not taste good. Burger and fries were "ok" according to my wife, but really not worth the price either.
This is a truly friendly and welcoming neighborhood bar that also happens to have fabulously crafted cocktails by the bartenders! I loved the smokiness of the Sazerac and the lush rye in the paper plane.
It's a really chill sleek bar with a relaxing environment and a mid century flair!
