Basta Grill

I stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday evening, and it was empty, so there were lots of seating options. The way the layout is kind of pressured you to order on a touch screen, and the employees working were both prepping, so I didn’t realize ordering at the register was an option. When my friend arrived, she went up to the employee with questions and ordered directly, and the employee was super helpful. I got the meal box. My protein was falafel, which was good, but not my favorite falafel. My base was French fries, and these were some of the best French fries I’ve had. They were nice and crispy and well-seasoned. For my dip, I got baba ghanoush and then I got tahini as my sauce. My two sides were sweet potatoes and red cabbage. Everything was solid. To got tea to drink, and I appreciate that they have sugar syrup available to add to the unsweet tea. The portion size was big and felt like a good value for the price.

I had a wonderful time eating at Basta Grill! The server at the front was extremely patient with me as I learned what was on the menu. She gave me great recommendations and even let me sample a dip before I placed my order. I ended up ordering the build your own bowl, with baba ghanouj dip, chicken shawarma, cauliflower, and carrots. It was absolutely delicious. I would also highly recommend you get a side of fries! They all come seasoned and taste great. I highly recommend Basta Grill!

Great quick food place, at first I thought it was going to be similar to so many, but it was a happily surprised! I ordered the Dip bowl with a base of babaganush, with chicken shawarma, roasted zucchini, tabouli salad and zhoug sauce, delicious !! I’ll come back to try more items from the menu for sure !

New hidden gem in Hell's Kitchen! We got their dip sampler box and some pitas to-go and it was great! Enjoyed being able to try a lot of things with the sampler box. Definitely check this place out, or order online for a quick, delicious bite!
