My husband and I had lunch at Bar Italian on Saturday. This was our first time there. Had Levi as our waiter. He was great. Very attentive and did a great job of anticipating what we needed and was friendly. The food was tasty. We shouldn’t have ordered the bread appetizer as we always fill up on bread. Will definitely eat there again.
Met up with my parents here after church. Pretty yummy, the food was good. Shoutout to our server Josiah, he was very kind and patient, helpful and informative. (And kinda cute…) And he even lit the candle for me even though it was daytime 😊😊 (I was too curious) the salmon was tender, but I won’t lie, I was still a little hungry afterwards because the portions aren’t too big. Well, I suppose that’s helpful being a calorie counter… but it was supposed to be a fat day 😢😢😢 boujee atmosphere
While the lunch setting at this restaurant is lovely, the food experience ruined it. We ordered the mushroom bianco pizza, which arrived heavily dripping oil from on the stand. Our waiter dismissed our concerns, assuring us it was normal—despite the adjacent table receiving a perfectly baked, non-greasy version of the same pizza. The chicken limone pasta was equally disappointing, swimming in a pool of butter. Sadly, the heavy grease caught up with me, resulting in a severe stomach upset and vomiting later that night. I will not recommend this place at all.
One of my favorite places in Columbus. 🇮🇹
The food here is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care.
Great service, great atmosphere — I always enjoy coming back.
I’ll be honest, I almost didn’t come because of the reviews, especially on Valentine’s Day when I expected it to be crowded and chaotic. I’m glad I gave it a chance because it turned out to be a great experience. Mia took excellent care of us and really made the night enjoyable.
The drinks were a mixed bag. I’ve had better Bellinis, but the lemonade cocktail tasted fresh and refreshing. One thing to note is that their cocktails are made from premixed bases, so substitutions like swapping gin for vodka aren’t an option.
We ordered three appetizers and all of them were delicious. The artichokes were my favorite. The only small downside was the burrata, which I wish had come with more crostini. For entrées, we all chose something different and every dish had good flavor and satisfying portions.
We finished with dessert, the spumoni and the Valentine’s Day hazelnut chocolate cake. I forgot to take photos, but I would absolutely order the spumoni again. Overall, it was a really nice Valentine’s Day dinner and I’d definitely go back.
