What an amazing Mother’s Day. What I loved most is spending it with my family. It’s been over 10 years since I was last here. The food is still delectable. The Crab cake was amazing and so was the Steak. My husband’s Filet Mignon was amazing. What I did not expect is the size of the Mother’s Day feast or should I say least. 😂 I about gagged with laughter when I saw the size of my steak. Although the lobster and asparagus made up for it, but not too much. We left hungry and spent over $200. We may be back in the future, but only if we can get more bang for our bucks. We just want to leave full of amazing food. My daughter was happy with her macaroni, but she did not get the broccoli we ordered. It was ok though because we liked our server and my daughter ate her fries. My only question would be for the fries is were the fries intended to be cajuns? Just a question. For the most part, we enjoyed our time here. The food was delicious and the staff was great!
As an “out of towner” I love Mitchell’s. The drive is always worth it. Tonight I had the pleasure of having Michael as our waiter. He was very kind and patient and provided very good service. I’ll definitely be back 😊. *** the picture is just evidence of how good everything is😉
Went to Mitchell's Steakhouse today to celebrate my son's 22 birthday. First off our hostess Emma was top notch. Answered every question about the menu, made suggestions. She was awesome.
The food was to die for. My steak was cooked to perfection. I had a large party of 12, we didn't feel rushed, everyone was relaxed, and had a great experience.
The restaurant looked nice, the wait staff was very personable and attentive. The baked potato was very good and large portions. The drinks were made with care and were very good. I ordered a 7oz filet medium well. Little bit of pink. It came out medium or med rare. Blood came out when cut and very red in center. They took it back for a couple more minutes. Came back cut through again and it was still very red. The waitress saw it and said would you like me to have another minute on it? I said ok. The manager or kitchen manager came back with an overly well done charred 59$ filet. She told me “ next time just order it well done” I wanted to say , now it’s burnt and I ordered it how I wanted it but I didn’t want to add further stress so just took it. Because yeah, a medium well steak should be ordered well to not have blood running out. I told her Eddie Merlots and even Texas Roadhouse do it perfectly when I order medium well. Anyway, spent over 200$ for a Burnt steak I took home and gave to my dog. No offer for taking it off the bill or anything. Now I see why there weren’t many customers. Pic one in pieces is my char grilled steak, pic 2 is medium well at Eddie Merlots. Pic 3 is what I would expect for medium well. We won’t be back
Mitchell’s was the perfect place to celebrate Father’s Day! Everything was delicious you can’t go wrong, but what made the experience impeccable was the amazing service we received from our waitress, Emma! She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend getting the table side banana rum cake dessert from her. We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back again soon!
