Two words: SIMPLY AMAZING to describe Addu Mamma. My wife and I made a reservation and were greeted with a glass of prosecco as they were a bit delayed, which was great news for us as the prosecco was delicious.
We were seated right next to the kitchen, in an air conditioned room, which helped with the summer heat.
This is a small, family-run restaurant with about 12 tables or so and well off the beaten path and a true standout among all the tourist shops and restaurants.
The food was stunning. We started with the antipasto Addu Mama. Incredible. Quality bites, we enjoyed each and every one.
For our entrees, we ordered the speciale di giorno, pasta scialatielli con melanzana e salsiccia, and spaghetti and meatballs. We ordered their classic tiramisu to go, which was just as delicious as everything else (should’ve ordered two!).
The family was so kind and accommodating. We almost wanted to go back again! Next time we are here, for sure.

Addu Mamma captures the homely essence of Italian meal, it is one of the most memorable meals for me in my 2 weeks stay in Italy. My absolute favourite was the mixed pasta, there was just something so delicious and wholesome about it.
The prices are very reasonable and service was warm. We made a reservation in advance and 💯 recommend coming back here...
Don't hesitate, GO here! Make sure you pop in to pre-book as I think we were lucky to get seated. This was one of the best meals we had in Italy, the best Caprese I've ever had, the best pasta my partner says he's ever had.

Very charming, family run restaurant. You must try their Parmesan eggplant. Everything we had was delicious, we had to go back the next day during our short stay in Sorrento. I recommend you make a reservation ahead of time since wait can be a while!
A hidden gem. THE best restaurant in Sorrento. Small Family owned business with excellent service and authentic italian food. 100% recomend it. My husband who is italian himself was in awe. The caprese salad is out of this world. We ate it too fast to take a photo.
