Aramaris Sorrento

Ara Maris is an exceptional hotel, set in the heart of beautiful Sorrento. The first thing I noticed was the attentive, warm, and friendly staff. Their passion and hospitality were exemplary. The hotel itself is simply stunning—fresh, spacious, and luxurious. Our rooms were beyond expectations, with beautiful views, excellent amenities, and the most outrageously comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet, calm, and deeply relaxing. The pool area was peaceful, with every need thoughtfully met and more. Anything you could need or desire was at your fingertips. You would never believe you were just around the corner from the main square—you could hear nothing but the birds and your own thoughts. We were privileged to have dinner in the restaurant, which was refined, elegant, and, to be honest, utterly extraordinary. The chef clearly has great passion and dedication to his craft. The rooftop tapas was a brilliant idea, creating a wonderful summer atmosphere with breathtaking views. I was fortunate enough to visit the spa and experience a hot stone massage. It was heavenly—simply a space of complete calm and serenity. Sorrento is a beautiful destination that I would revisit in a heartbeat. Ara Maris is a hotel that felt like home—a truly wonderful place, full of charm and luxury. I would highly recommend it and very much hope to return one day, as it is a truly magical place.

Amazing hotel! Everything was wonderful from the rooms, restaurants, bar area , roof top to the resort-like feel of the pool area. All the staff was absolutely incredible, especially the Head concierge, Giusy. She went above and beyond to make all the arrangements we needed for a best vacation possible! I can’t imagine another hotel in Sorrento providing better service. With my highest recommendation possible, the Ara Maris should be your destination when in Sorrento!

My husband and I spent a lovely five days, four nights at the beautiful Ara Maris. Leading up to the trip, we were able to use their concierge service to coordinate transport. Once we arrived, we were greeted with the kindest front desk. This service extended from the front desk, concierge, spa, absolutely everyone. The location is incredible. There isn’t a more prime area than staying steps away from the main city. They also have a golf cart they assist for quick drives down the road. Our housekeepers came and checked on us 2 to 3 times a day and made sure we had everything we needed. Concierge helped us with any questions we had arranging transportation and local questions. The spa was excellent. We had a couples massage and the masseuse and local oils they used were wonderful. The pool was great as well and our views from the room were wondrous. Lastly, their rooftop bar has one of the best views. I went multiple times throughout my stay. We hope to be back again soon! Thank you Ara Maris for the best vacation!!

This was such a FANTASTIC hotel!! Location was perfect for walking everywhere we needed to go in Sorrento. The Concierge and check in teams delivered over the top service daily but specifically when we had a mix up on our driver for our Positano day. They immediately jumped into action and found a solution. The view from the balcony of the water was worth it as well. Highly recommend this property.
