Visited 15 Stamford Restaurant at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore for a Friday dinner. My boyfriend made the reservation and it turned out to be a lovely choice.
The ambience felt elegant yet comfortable, great for a date night. Service was attentive and professional throughout the evening.
The highlight for me was the beef cheek, it was tender and beautifully done
Overall, a pleasant dining experience in a refined setting. Would consider coming back to try more of the menu.
not a fan. food isnt bad but I would have expected a little better for a Kempinski. the bread to be honest impressed. very soft and easy to have the different parts peel away. but felt a bit heavy after a portion. Scallops as starter was OK but these days, I wont know how to tell the good from the great. just felt ordinary. beef as a main course was a little gamey. but was sort of ok with it. then came the dessert. yes, waiting for it...then came the dessert...and wait some more..and more and more. I think they forgot our table. eventually when it did come, pretty ordinary too. atmosphere for a Kempinski was good and overall, can give 4 * but just barely.

The restaurant is commendable for its consistency. Over the past two years, we dined here on multiple occasions while staying in Singapore and the food has in general been reliably good, both for dinner and breakfast. We had one experience with severely undercooked chicken (it was still pink on the inside), and a few occasions of slow service. Perhaps a bit overpriced for the offering - certainly not a fine dining restaurant. Expect good portion sizes, and staff who cater for special dietary requests. Overall reliable but not exceptional.

Had a really enjoyable evening at 15 Stamford — the space itself is stunning, with a warm, elegant setting that feels both upscale yet comfortable. From the bar area to the main dining hall, everything is thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot for both casual catch-ups and special occasions.
The food was equally impressive. We had a mix of dishes including oysters, fish, and a few starters — everything was well-presented and executed with good balance of flavours. The fish was nicely done, moist and flavourful, while the oysters were fresh and clean. Portions were just right without feeling overly heavy.
Service throughout the evening was smooth and attentive without being overbearing. The team ensured everything flowed well, allowing us to just sit back and enjoy the experience.
Overall, 15 Stamford delivers a solid combination of ambience, food quality, and service — definitely a place worth returning to.

Our huge group of 18 (10 adults and 8 kids) celebrated Easter with a brunch here and it was amazing.
They had us all seated in an almost private room and it was a great space for our group to socialize and mingle. Staff were very attentive and the buffet spread was good for the value paid. There were a lot of activities for the kids and they even had their own function room space on the 4th floor with face painting and balloon sculpting while they watch a film. The adults had a great time and the kids definitely had a fantastic time. Highly recommend.
