Caviar

Caviar is a food item consisting of salt-cured roe, primarily sourced from fish of the Acipenseridae family, commonly known as sturgeon. Traditionally considered a delicacy, the term specifically referred to roe from wild sturgeon found in the Caspian Sea and Black Sea. However, the definition can also extend to roe from other sturgeon species or various fish such as salmon, paddlefish, or trout. It is typically consumed as a garnish or spread.
