Food: 10/10 (three best-ever!s)
Service: 10/10
Atmo: 10/10
Best ever:
• Sangria
• Olives
• Octopus
Dishes came out spaced well and presented tastefully. We didn't have a bad dish. The octopus was quite the standout dish. Service was exceptional. They really outshined every other bday meal I've had in Portland. They made me feel so welcomed and special. It was super nice.

I’m obsessed. We initially ordered 6 dishes with 2 drinks. Everything was so good we opted for 2 more dishes and an additional drink before getting our 2 desserts and the dessert sherry flight. Portion sizes were a little small for the price but honestly, I think the overall experience added to the value here.
Everything was truly amazing. Food was easily some of the best I’ve eaten - even beating out a Michelin star restaurant from Italy in my humble opinion!
Service was fantastic - staff were all kind, prompt, and knowledgeable. You could tell they all work well together too, it was like watching a well oiled performance as they all moved together and around each other without once bumping into anyone or being in anyone’s way and all while smiling and joking with one another.
The ambience was great. It’s a small space but we got seats right up at the counter and were able to watch the kitchen work. What a show!
We left very full but not grossly so like many traditional American restaurants. The bill for all of that came out to around $250. We definitely only ordered that much food because we had a credit, but honestly? I would totally do it again. I wish we lived closer!!

Resy recommended this restaurant to us, so we decided to check it out. Located in a quiet suburban area of Portland, it has a charming neighborhood vibe. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit.
The food presentation was beautiful, and the flavors met our expectations. While the prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes, the overall dining experience made it worthwhile. The restaurant is quite small, so I would recommend making a reservation in advance. They also offer covered outdoor seating. It would probably be even more enjoyable during the summer months, as there were no outdoor heaters available during our visit.

Embarrassed I am just now rating this perfect restaurant on google. I'd give 6 stars if I could. It's pricey so we go on special occasions like birthdays. When I tell you every plate is perfect, I'm not kidding. From the pintxos to the tapas to the main dishes, to that Basque cheesecake though. The staff (esp our man Andre!) is amazingly knowledgable and attentive and always recommends the best wine. This place is a gem.
