We had dinner here in the week and the food was absolutely delicious. Best chicken wings I've had for a LONG time. The team were lovely and talked us through the menu and we were really happy with our choices, plenty of veggie options too. If I wasn't driving I would have 100% had the Nigerian Guinness as well!
An enjoyable evening @chukusldn of #NigerianTapas chatting with my fellow #ChopChatChill #Ejikoro dining companions @shanaebrooks @stra.wberry26 @simisyms

My favourite dish was the honey suja prawns which had a nice spice note with the sweetness of the honey to mellow the spices, reminded me of the prawns we get back in Goa. 😋
My next favourite was the super spicy, hot, slow cooked lamb ayamase. Definitely recommend if you can handle the heat level! Similar spice level to #sorpotel . 🔥💯🤩
My Olu Fashioned was an interesting take on my favourite classic old fashioned, with the twist of pineapple syrup and @orijin_nigeria bitters. The perfect drinks partner for my dishes. 🥃😃
Thank you Ifey for inviting me and the warm hospitality and delicious food. Loving the design and decor too. 🙌💚🤗
- Thanks Jean @stra.wberry26 for the Goan Community Centre tip too, didn't know about this place! 😊

As a Nigerian, I had pretty high expectations before visiting Chuku’s Boxhall pop-up, and I’m happy to say they absolutely delivered. I went for the Jollof Bowl and it was genuinely one of the highlights of my week. The suya meatballs were packed with flavour and paired perfectly with the rice and sweet plantain, while the coleslaw added a lovely freshness that balanced everything out. Honest, comforting food done really well. I’ll definitely be back.

The staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. Really lovely atmosphere and incredible food! Got to try regional dishes that I would never have tried before and really enjoyed the tapas experience. Would definitely come here again

Outstanding. No reservation Saturday night after the footy. Made most welcome. Describes its self as Nigerian tapas, three plates were enough, decent portions. Dundee free pleased to say.
Ironically the sticker came into my possession yesterday, which is us perfectly.
