Do not book here if you want any comfort as there is no air-conditioning and the rooms are excessively hot (it was during a week of 30c). We got fans from reception which were dirty and dusty and did little to cool the room down. None of our party managed to sleep, it’s a pity as the hotel itself is nice and has a Starbucks onsite.

A fabulous stay with amazing newly refurbished bedrooms. Staff were outstanding, including Dan and Elana. The pub and grill was large, served great food with no delay to our service. The pool was large and the perfect place to the kids swimming to burn off their energy! Highly recommend.

Stayed 3 nights for business. It has the usual gym, pool, and sports bar you expect from the chain. The biggest perks here are the massive car park (much easier to get a space than other locations) and the reliable EV chargers, which were always available. It's incredibly convenient right off the M6. The room was standard, but the cleanliness of the toilet wasn’t great and there was a bad smell in the bathroom. Good for a convenient work stopover, but housekeeping needs a bit of attention.

Mixed experience, overall poor service Booked room with early check in, not ready on arrival, had to wait in reception for 30 mins (75 mins after room should have been ready). Requested table reservation for evening meal - not made, but we did get a table. We ordered food and drinks, drinks did not arrive until we had finished both our starter and main courses despite asking for them three times. Club room well equipped and clean. Breakfast excellent, both food quality and service.

Stayed here a few times. Recently refurbished rooms, which look and feel great. Location is good, just off J10, but, can get very very busy, goes without saying. Always made to feel welcome by the staff, but, particularly, the young gent, with tattoos and dark hair and a beard, on reception is a real assett to this hotel. (So sorry forgot his name). Goes out of his way to answer any questions, and always excellent customer service, with a smile. Cannot comment on the gym, as haven't used it here. The Starbucks is great within the hotel also. Lovely staff, great selection of hot/cold food, drinks etc, what one would expect. This is one of my favourite Village Hotel's.
