An exceptional fine dining experience in Afytos! We pre-ordered the fresh lobster pasta, and it was cooked to perfection—rich, authentic, and bursting with flavor. To start, the grilled calamari and grilled shrimps were incredibly fresh, light, and delicious.
We paired the main course with a fantastic local red wine, Aidarinis Goumenissa (2020), which was reasonably priced at €30 and complemented the lobster pasta flawlessly.
The atmosphere, stunning sea view, and top-tier service made our evening truly unforgettable. Highly recommended if you are looking for outstanding seafood and an amazing atmosphere!
We had dinner here yesterday and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious. For our main courses, we ordered the sea bass and shrimp saganaki, and both were amazing. All of the appetizers were really tasty too, but the feta with honey and sesame was definitely my favorite! 🤍And the view… OMG…. Absolutely stunning😍 I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance because there was a huge line while we were having dinner. Thank you for everything! We had such a lovely evening and would definitely come back :)

We had a very nice and delicious experience at Thea Thalassa. We were a party of 8, the order came out quick and accurate, despite the fact that the place was full, on a Friday evening.
There are plenty of options to choose from, mostly fish and seafood focused. Everything was very tasty, nicely presented. Highly recommend the cured fish and ceviche, but also the fried feta with sesame seeds and honey, tarama salad and fresh oysters.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish.
The service felt rushed, and several employees came across as rude and dismissive whenever we asked simple questions. To make matters worse, our food arrived cold, making it seem as though it had been sitting for quite some time before being served.
The Tuna Moussaka, one of the restaurant's "Signature Dishes," was completely inedible. It looked and tasted so old and unappetizing that we decided not to eat it because we were genuinely concerned about getting sick. After traveling throughout Greece for the past five weeks, this was easily the worst meal we've had. They couldn't even prepare a decent Greek salad.
The gentleman who seated us—whom I believe is the owner, as he appears on the restaurant's website holding a lobster—was the rudest part of the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, he was dismissive and unpleasant. We politely asked if we could sit at an unoccupied table with a view of the water, but he refused and insisted that our assigned table was "better." Moments later, when a group of local diners asked to be moved, he happily relocated them to that very same waterfront table.
Our supposedly "better" table was next to the kitchen, where servers sat smoking while our food was being prepared—or, based on the temperature of our meals, perhaps simply reheated.
We had heard great things about this restaurant and even canceled another reservation to dine here, which made the experience even more disappointing. For the prices they charge, I expected far better food quality and significantly better customer service.
A meal out should be enjoyable, but this visit was frustrating from beginning to end. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I certainly won't be returning.
Afitos has many wonderful restaurants serving fresh, delicious food with warm, genuine hospitality. I would encourage visitors to choose one of those instead.
After more than twenty years in business, perhaps it's time for Thea Thalassa to reflect on whether it's still delivering the experience its reputation and prices promise.

One of the best seafood meals we’ve had in a long time! Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent, with such friendly and welcoming staff. Add the stunning view, and you have the perfect place for a relaxing meal. Highly recommended!
