We went to Oceanides for dinner a couple of times whilst staying in Afytos! It’s located on the main pathway overlooking the sea in Afytos town.
We had the shrimp linguine and pork souvlaki the first time we went and really enjoyed it. The portions were good & I struggled to finish my linguini but it was so good that I just kept going! The white wine was nice, I don’t usually drink wine but I thought whilst in Greece I needed to try it again & I did really like this one with the seafood.
The food came out in good time and it has good value for money! Mains ranged from about €12-€21 on average depending on what you got. My shrimp linguine was €21 and my husbands pork souvlaki was €12 and came with chips.
We came back another night because we knew it was a good restaurant and had the lamb chops and halloumi cheese.
We also loved the sea view and because we went in mid May it was a little cold in the evenings but they had heaters to keep us warm which was a really nice touch!
All the staff were so good, warm and welcoming and remembered us when we came back.
They added to the atmosphere and made sure that everything was good for us.
Also whenever walking down that pathway even if not eating there that day the man out the front always greeted us and asked how we were but not in a pushy approach to come in, he was just friendly to us which was nice! It’s this approach that actually made us want to come back because we were not forced or pushed into the restaurant.
We really enjoyed our experience here, thank you to everyone at Oceanides! We will remember our time here as part of our holiday to Afytos!
It's probably the best restaurant I've ever been to! The service here is truly top-notch! What impressed us most was the staff. They don't treat you like customers—they treat you like family. They make you feel genuinely welcome and do everything they can to make your visit unforgettable.
It's all about the little details. When it was cold and windy, they offered us blankets. They greeted us warmly every time they saw us, even when we weren't dining there. They remembered our names and made us feel special from the very beginning. By the time of our second visit, it felt like we had known them for years.
The food is absolutely amazing—delicious, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish is mouth-watering and makes you want to try everything on the menu. For food lovers, it's a real paradise.
The atmosphere is incredible, thanks to the perfect combination of the location, the food, and, most importantly, the people who work there. The staff are professional, hospitable, and genuinely kind. We were also pleasantly surprised that they know about Ukrainian cuisine and appreciate it, so we definitely have something in common.

We visited this restaurant on our second evening in Afitos, and it turned out to be an absolute gem.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were very kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered quite a few different dishes, and everything we tried was incredibly tasty, fresh, and well prepared.
The atmosphere was lovely, the service was attentive, and the whole dinner felt very relaxed and enjoyable. The only small thing I would mention is that I am used to having Greek salad with red onion, but even without it, the salad was still good and this was not really an issue for me.
At the end of the meal, we were also offered a complimentary dessert, which was a very nice touch and tasted great.
Overall, we had a wonderful dinner and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Afitos.
Amazing restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and stunning sea views. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The seafood was especially excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
