Best Italian food I’ve had in a long while. Authentic homemade recipes. The Lasagna was 5 stars as was the Shrimp Alfonso. The food was so delicious that we went back the next night for Pizza which was divine as well.
The owner/chef, Chris was kind and hospitable. Our server, Loraine was awesome. I highly recommend Sicilian II for real Italian cuisine!
This is a hidden gem! I first want to say don't judge a book by its cover and remind yourself that even Guy Fieri loves Diners, Drive-in and "Dives"....this is one of those! Really! Give it a try and I know you won't be disappointed! The reviews speak for themselves and we both gave a 5 star review. We ordered the "The Lanford" Chicago style pizza & the gluten free Cauliflower crust with mushrooms and green olives ( build your own). They were both great, but the Lanford was by far the yummiest of the two. From being greeted to taking our order to check out we felt very welcomed and like our patronage was appreciated. The owner made his way around to each table to check on each customer and took time to chat and wanted to hear about our opinions on our food and wanted to get to know his patrons. I loved learning about this was a family run by a father who's son took over the business and that the recipes were multi generational and some ingredients were imported in from Sicily and or organically purchased with care for the recipes. We would definitely recommend and woud return. We were traveling through on vacation and so glad we found this little hole in the wall dive! Make this a must visit when you're in Biloxi Mississippi! I know you'll be glad you did.
A small, family owned treasure on the Gulf Coast! The Shrimp Alfonso was the hit of the night. It was perfectly seasoned and had great flavor. The garlic bread!! Oh my! The garlic "sauce" on the bread was garlic forward which is definitely my thing. Dessert was the only thing I got a picture of. Chef Chris visited our table and we asked for his recommendation. He recommended the chocolate mousse. It was a perfect blend of chocolate mousse and vanilla whipped cream. It was a great end to our meals. They have both a pizza night and a date night which we can't wait to try. We did have reservations but I saw plenty of walk-ins as well. I had seen so many positive reviews of the Sicilian 2 and I'm so glad we decided to try it! Definitely recommend.
Yes, the best chocolate mousse on the planet is gone (see picture), and as always, it did not disappoint. My favorite place to dine on the MS Gulf Coast. Cozy, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful music that doesn’t overpower the ability to comfortably converse with your party. It’s a great date night spot!!! The food is delicious, great service, generous portions of fresh, wonderfully crafted family recipes and original dishes by Chef Chris. They always make you feel like family. In the 10 years I have dined here, I have NEVER been disappointed.
Great place for gluten-free food!
The pasta and the pizza options taste amazing! and you can't even tell they're Gluten-Free! If you're tired of the regular GF chewy pasta or the flavorless hard pizza come over here and try it, you won't regret it! I'm so glad I found a restaurant that has amazing Gluten-Free options, I'm definitely making it one of my regular places to go
