As full-time travelers behind our Sunsets & Speakeasies YouTube channel, we eat out a lot, and The Nomad Kitchen on An Thuong 32 seriously impressed us. We showed up hungry—this was our one and only meal of the day—and thankfully, we picked the right place. The space itself is clean, modern, and open, with a relaxed atmosphere that lets the food take center stage.
We decided to share everything, which turned out to be the way to go. The steak was perfectly prepared, with a quality cut and excellent cook. The General Tso’s chicken special was packed with flavor, but the Wagyu Reuben sandwich was sublime. Easily one of those dishes where you take the first bite, look across the table, and immediately know you’re both thinking the same thing. The kitchen team clearly knows what they’re doing—not only with flavor and technique, but with beautiful presentation as well.
We paired everything with two fresh juices and somehow found room to finish with a gorgeous lemon tart, which was the perfect bright ending to a seriously satisfying meal.
The staff were incredible throughout our visit—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Between the professional kitchen team, quality ingredients, presentation, and service, The Nomad Kitchen punches well above a casual neighborhood restaurant.
If you’re staying around An Thuong in Da Nang, put this one on your list. Come hungry, order a few things to share, and do not skip that Wagyu Reuben.

I was genuinely impressed by my experience at The Nomad Kitchen. It’s the kind of place where you can immediately tell there’s a real focus on technique and ingredient quality, without it feeling forced or overdone.
I ordered the Mediterranean Buffalo Sandwich, and it stood out right away. The buffalo was tender and rich, and everything paired together in a really balanced way. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, but what really stayed with me was the homemade bread—it had that perfect crust and structure you only get when a kitchen takes bread seriously. It tied everything together and elevated the whole sandwich.
What I appreciated most was that nothing felt accidental. Every component seemed thoughtfully chosen and executed with care.
The service added to the experience in a natural way—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing.
Overall, this is a place I’d come back to without hesitation. If you value well-executed food and attention to detail, it’s absolutely worth trying.

If you are experiencing a bit of local food fatigue and craving some top-tier Western comfort food, The Nomad Kitchen is an absolute lifesaver! True to its name, this place is a fantastic haven for expats, travelers, and digital nomads in Da Nang.
Their menu boasts an incredible Mediterranean selection, but they are especially famous for being a sandwich and burger paradise. The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are hearty, and the flavors hit the spot perfectly. The venue itself is modern and inviting, featuring lovely outdoor seating under hanging greenery and a spacious glass-fronted dining room. It’s a brilliant, reasonably priced spot to grab a satisfying dinner, meet fellow travelers, or simply enjoy a taste of home. Highly recommended.

As a Brit, I’m pretty picky about roast dinners, so I wasn’t expecting much outside the UK. The Nomad Kitchen really surprised me in the best way. The roast was spot on and honestly better than quite a few I’ve had back home. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back when you’re craving proper comfort food.

Very friendly service, which was appreciated!
Unfortunately, the food was just ok. I felt like my chicken pesto sandwich was quite tasteless and lacked seasoning, and quite cold (a scarce amount of chips too). My boyfriend enjoyed the steak on his salad but he also thought it was just ok.
We got a free dessert because I asked about the sandwich and chips.
We probably wouldn’t return, wasn’t a favourite and was expecting much better.
