Additional Details
The Chef Truck at Park MGM is a collaboration that brings the popular food truck experience to a hotel setting. It draws inspiration from the iconic Kogi truck and the film 'Chef'.
I recently visited this place for the first time and had a great experience. Just now, I noticed that the reviews were quite low. If I had seen this lower rating than 4.5 I would be a bit hesitant to give it a try. However, I had some hotel credits to use, so I decided to give it a shot.
The prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Overall, the food met my expectations and was delicious. I went back for more during my weekend stay and tried the cubanano sandwich, chicken burrito and the beef burrito. I also liked the packaging and toppings of the burritos. They may look small, but they were actually quite filling. It’s worth trying!
I gave this food truck a five stars one the hotel is nonsmoking and because of its unique food flavors, authenticity, fast service, and easy online ordering. There was no wait time for pickup, which was a huge plus. If we stay at the PARK MGM again, I’ll definitely grab some of their food.
I unfortunately didn't get more pictures of the food variety we got but it was delicious. Our friend told us about the spot and it will be one we go back to if we could. The puff pie was crispy, the seasonal fruit was watermelon and it was juicy. Overall pretty tasty and good dining experience.

I was so excited to see The Chef’s food truck at Park MGM and was really looking forward to trying it! Loved the movie!
I did really enjoy The Chef Truck Cubano as it was nice and toasted and the bread was soft!
I also enjoyed the Hand Burger Pie because of the pastry. It definitely reminded me of a beef patty.
Where The Chef Truck falls short is their staff. No smile, not welcoming and there was attitude. Even though we told them we were dining in, we didn’t get a try for some reason.
It looks like others who’ve dined here have experienced similar customer service, which is unfortunate.

Vastly underrated in reviews, the Chef truck was actually one of the best places we ate at in Vegas (over multiple trips). If you get one thing, get the churros – best version of churros that I’ve ever had, and that caramel dip with it is delicious! Also recommend the seasonal fruit which was this very interesting flavored cut watermelon which was so refreshing. We also enjoyed the Cubano, grilled cheese, and taquitos but were in a rush to get to the airport so had to get it to go, and while still tasty it would have obviously been yummier at Park MGM.
Foodies may know of Babish, and when we saw his rave review of the dishes we were a bit skeptical but we shouldn’t have doubted him. As he points out, a lot of Vegas restaurants are branches of restaurants in other locations – however, Chef and Best Friend (both run by chef Roy Choi) are solely based in Vegas and you can really taste how much care is put into the food offered on the menu. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with your order; the combo of incredible food at pretty cheap prices is hard to find on the strip, and if you’re lucky enough to be near here, you should check it out.

It was good. I loved the Cubano sandwich, I was expecting it to be bigger and better looking (so I could take a picture) but it just looked like a flat sandwich. But it tasted very good 😊 I totally recommend.
It's in the casino so very noisy and lots of people, I was expecting something different, cleaner and a cool atmosphere, but it's just a facade.
The service is neutral, just like a fast food drive though.
Nothing memorable except for the little Chef replica truck.
