We had really good service from Evan , very polite , smiley looked after us from start to finish . We had delicious steak and daughter had bacon and cheese burger we all had empty plates and very good value .
We found The Discovery on First Table and decided to book. On first sight the outside looks as though it's a 90s social club, but don't be influenced by that. The pub offers daily deals and all mains come with a soft drink or coffee. The chef proved to be tolerant of awkward requests (thank you!) and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly. Everything was cooked to perfection and generously sized, especially given the more than fair prices. Staff were all very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Whilst the football was on the TVs, the distinct areas which were well separated ensured that everyone was able to get what they wanted from the pub atmosphere without intruding on others. Highly recommended.
We came in without a reservation and were worried we wouldn't get in as it was quite busy.
But Slavi welcomed us and was really friendly, helped us get seated and were amazing regarding my daughters allergies. She was able to eat the same as us and loved it
We all hed the Sunday Dinner and loved it. The portions were generous and the food was amazing.
Food portions are absolutely appalling and the quality is not enough to bring up the lack of size. Good places to watch sports or have a pint in the sun, although the flats block the sun setting quite early on.
A lovely pub with friendly customers and staff. I ordered a side of buffalo chicken wings, which came in good time, was reasonably priced and cooked perfectly. Lovely lattes, would visit again.
