I'd been seeing this place all over social media, so decided to give it a try. The famous pancake wasn't really for me. It was quite dense and sweet, more like a rice cake than a traditional pancake. The egg sandwich was decent but not particularly memorable.
The café was very busy, and although we got a table without a booking, there was a one-hour time limit. It also felt a little noisy.
The highlight was definitely the staff, who were friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, it was worth trying, but given the prices and the hype, it didn't quite meet expectations.
We had a lovely experience. You need to make reservations before dining. We were 4 with a dog and the accommodations for Ace was fab.
Food was on point and delicious. Totally enjoyed the burrata salad as well as the watermelon and feta. The feta wasn’t just chunks but creamy so I like how it blended with the watermelon. Burst of freshness.
Loved the Cyprus eggs, the yoghurt’s tang was impeccable. The chicken burger with the kimchi was filling too and the fries are well seasoned so you don’t miss much.
The roast beef sandwich gets full points for hitting the melt spot. Enjoyed the mushroom and Asparagus omelette too.
The staff is polite and attentive.
A little expensive but value for the money.
And enjoyable Sunday brunch.
I visited this restaurant recently and overall had a good experience, though I feel it might be a bit overhyped. I ordered the shakshuka and the Turkish eggs—both dishes were well prepared and tasted good, with nice flavors and decent portions. That said, while everything was enjoyable, it didn’t fully live up to the high expectations set by the hype. Still, it’s a pleasant spot with solid food and worth trying if you’re in the area.
The place has a great vibe and is cutesy. We had heard about this place and visited it on a Sunday after queueing for about 30 minutes.
However, our group of 5 were not happy with the food.
We ordered shakshuka, the pancake and chicken sandwich. The shakshuka lacked flavours. The pancakes were sponge cakes and not the typical pancakes and weren’t good either. The chicken in the sandwich was not fried properly as the chicken was too chewy and rubbery.
We got an Oat matcha and cappuccinos and they were good.
Fantastic place for a date or brunch with a friend. Was constantly busy on a Saturday afternoon and table service was turned around quick, however was never rushed once during our dinner.
Pancake is a must have. It's not so much a traditional pancake but more a dense cake with a chocolate syrup coating. Worth the visit
