⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic Israeli Flavor in the Heart of the Upper East Side
This Israeli spot on the Upper East Side is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with that warm, lively energy that feels both Tel Aviv–vibrant and classic New York refined.
The food is exceptional. The hummus is silky and perfectly seasoned, the pita comes out warm and fresh, and every mezze dish is layered with bold, authentic flavor. The grilled meats are cooked flawlessly — tender, juicy, and seasoned exactly right. You can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. Even the salads are bright, crisp, and packed with fresh herbs and olive oil that actually tastes like it came straight from Israel.
What really elevates the experience is the balance: comforting, home-style flavors presented with an upscale touch. It’s not just dinner — it feels like hospitality. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely proud of the menu, happy to guide you through the dishes and offer thoughtful recommendations.
Whether you’re craving real Israeli comfort food, planning a date night, or just want an incredible meal with friends, this place delivers. Easily one of the best Israeli dining experiences on the Upper East Side.
Can’t wait to go back.
Overall fine but not a great experience, especially for the price. The lamb arayes and chicken snitzel were good but my grilled branzino tasted burnt and bitter plus my gruner wine felt like a cheap house wine. Service and ambiance (love the outdoor seating) made this place better but personally won’t come back.
A great go to UES spot! Not a ton of gluten free options for those needing that but they do have a GF burger bun and GF pita which is a major bonus! The dips we got were great!
Honestly incredible all around. Great, big space, very friendly staff, absolutely delicious food. I can’t stop ordering the chicken schnitzel and the Israeli chopped salad every time—it’s just tooooo good. I’m so glad they opened up in the neighborhood! This location beats Nolita for me!
