Scampi

A new place in Getafe that caught my eye because of the great reviews. We ordered a Margherita pizza, and the crust was really good, but the pizza tasted almost entirely of tomato sauce. I don't know if other pizzas have the same problem. Overall, the menu seemed incredibly cheap compared to other similar restaurants! :) The place is beautifully decorated, but when we walked in, there was a strange smell, like a bathroom. I suppose it was a combination of the heat and the number of people there. The service was incredibly fast and very friendly. I might go back to try other pizzas because they looked good!

This is a really special place... The food is excellent! I'll be back soon because their food is truly exquisite... I want to thank Alejandra for her outstanding service... she was so attentive. People like her are what make places like this great. Congratulations!

The place was fine, but I left a little disappointed because I expected quite a bit more after seeing the reviews, to be honest. I understand that people haven't eaten in many real trattorias and few Neapolitan pizzas, hence the rating. Regarding the starters, I wouldn't recommend any of them. The burrata "stuffed with pesto" didn't actually have the filling (photo attached) and it didn't impress me much; it was good, but nothing special. The eggplant parmigiana was practically tasteless, and in general, the starters were quite bland and small portions for the price. The pizzas were better. The pistachio and caprocciosa looked great and had plenty of toppings, but I expected them to be tastier, and the price... I understand that people have to earn a living, and that running a business involves many expenses, but for a Neapolitan pizza to cost more in Getafe than in central Madrid or in Italy... well, that's a bit odd. The service was adequate. I wouldn't order the bread they serve again. Being a trattoria, you expect that for €1.50, the four or five slices of bread would at least be artisanal/homemade, or if not freshly baked, at least warmed in the oven for 30 seconds. It's not artisanal, but at least it should be something you'd want to scrape the plate clean. And it wasn't. The selection of Italian beers was very good, a real plus. I don't know if I'd go back, but if I do and they improve, I'll update my review. They have a LOT of room for improvement, and in Getafe, they have no competition, which is perhaps the problem.
