From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for something special.
We were warmly welcomed by the lovely hostess, who was genuinely friendly and made us feel at home right away. She even gave us a quick tour of the dining room before showing us to our table, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Once seated, we were greeted by our server, Nataly, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire evening. She explained the menu clearly, answered every question with confidence, and guided us through the dishes without ever making us feel rushed. Her hospitality truly elevated the experience.
We started with cocktails. I ordered the Rose Soufflé, and wow… what a beautiful cocktail. The calamansi added the perfect bright citrus note, while the coconut cream gave it a smooth, velvety finish. It was refreshing, balanced, and dangerously easy to drink. My husband ordered the Amère Bìére from Alsace, France, and it paired perfectly with the traditional Alsatian pretzel. Speaking of the pretzel, it had a beautiful chewy texture with the perfect crust. Together with the beer, it was the ideal way to begin our meal.
For wine, we trusted the recommendation of the sommelier, Breanne, and we’re so glad we did. She was incredibly sweet, approachable, and knowledgeable. She recommended the Auxey-Duresses Pascal Prunier-Bonheur, and it turned out to be the perfect bottle for our dinner. Her guidance made the experience even more memorable.
Now let’s talk about the food.
The tuna crudo was fresh, delicate, and beautifully balanced. The escargot was absolutely addictive. I could have ordered another round without hesitation. The tarte flambée was phenomenal with its perfectly crisp crust, and the sausage with purple mustard instantly transported me to Alsace. It felt authentic, comforting, and full of character. Then came the rabbit cavatelli, which completely stole my heart. Easily 1000000/10. Rich, comforting, and one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a very long time.

Delicious food and amazing service. Our favorite dishes were the Aged Blue Fin Tuna Crudo, the Spicy Beef Tartare, and the Escargots à l’Alsacienne but we enjoyed everything we ordered. We would definitely return to try more of the menu!

EVERYTHING in the menu was incredible 😮💨❤️ I have eaten in many restaurants in NY but this one has been by far the best one.

Awesome new restaurant from Gabriel Kreuther with excellent food and an accessible, crowd-pleasing, but still distinctly Alsacian menu. I'd definitely recommend the tarte, the chicken, the pastas, the steak, the buratta salad with some kick, and the pretzel of course. The glaces are also absolutely incredible! If you like watching the action, check out a chef's counter table.
