Best Times to Visit
Sadelle's is a very popular and busy spot, especially for brunch. It is highly recommended to make reservations in advance. Visiting on a less busy day might offer a more relaxed experience.
The food was enjoyable overall, though a few dishes could have been a little more balanced.
The French toast was tasty but slightly oily, while the smoked salmon flavor in the Eggs Benedict was milder than expected. The omelet also had a bit too much mustard for my taste, which slightly overpowered the other flavors.
Still, it was a pleasant brunch experience overall.
I had brunch at Sadelle’s NYC in SoHo, and it was a lovely experience.
The restaurant has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and is perfectly located in the heart of SoHo, making it a great spot to escape the bustle of the city for a leisurely brunch.
The food was excellent, with a great selection on the menu and plenty of choice. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, and the service was friendly and welcoming throughout.
My only minor criticism was the coffee. It was served as a standard black coffee in a pot with regular milk, and I would have appreciated a few more coffee options, such as espresso-based drinks or alternative milks. I understand that this is likely part of the café’s classic, understated style, but it’s the only aspect I felt could have been improved.
Overall, it was a very positive experience. The quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the great location made it a thoroughly enjoyable place to spend a Sunday brunch.

We came here for breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs with mashed potatoes and a side salad. The dish was served with a sliced bagel and cream cheese. We also ordered a cocktail and a coffee.
The waiter offered us water, and we assumed it would be tap water. Instead, he brought a bottle of still water, which we were charged for, and of course the service charge was applied to that as well. It would have been nice if this had been made clear in advance.
The service itself was professional, friendly, and of a very high standard. The food was tasty and well prepared.
Our total came to $105 including 20% gratuity. While we enjoyed the meal, unfortunately we don’t feel the overall experience justified such a high price for breakfast.

The food was delicious 😋 I really enjoyed my cobb salad but the French toast was definitely my favorite part of the meal. Definitely a sharing type of dish. The sadelle spritzer is also worth trying. My server was amazing and thoughtful. He brought me 2 shout wipes after I dropped a piece of chicken on my lap. This was my first time here but I'll definitely be coming back.

Sadelle’s never disappoints. We ordered the fish tower with white fish, lox, and smoked fish—everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The tuna salad was a standout; the dressing was so flavorful and perfectly balanced. And the French toast… absolutely mouthwatering. Soft, rich, and indulgent, with presentation that makes you want to take photos before taking a bite. From the food to the presentation, everything was on point. Highly recommend.
