Finally, truly authentic Southern Thai food in the Seattle area! The moment you walk in, the incredible aroma of fresh herbs instantly transports you back to Thailand.
The flavors here are unique and bold—you can tell they make their own chili pastes from scratch. I ordered several dishes and every single one was delicious; I only wish I had more room to try everything on the menu. The space is lovely and the service is absolutely excellent. A must-visit for anyone looking for the real deal! Plus they have full bar 🍺
ROY Southen Thai on Phinney Ave is the real deal. The food was outstanding. We had the Muu Kho, Talay Phad Karee, and the Gang Pae goat curry. Each dish was bold, deeply flavored, and unlike anything at your average Thai spot. Southern Thai cuisine is genuinely its own thing, and ROY does it beautifully. Dessert was fried pineapple: perfectly crisp, not greasy, a great ending. Cocktails were delicious too.
Our waiter had a rare gift for anticipating exactly what we needed without ever hovering - the rare attentive-but-not-intrusive service.

This place is special. Highly recommend.
Delicious! While everything we ate was absolutely delicious, I wanted to highlight this incredible salad. Never in a Thai restaurant have I had such an amazingly fresh and flavorful salad. The service was just as great as the food. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to return next time we’re in the neighborhood. Thanks!
We love this place. Every dish we’ve had has been super flavorful! We’ve been here multiple times in the last few months and the quality and service are consistent. We’ve also been bringing our newborn and haven’t had any issues. The only issue I have is their pricing: it’s notably more expensive than other Thai restaurants. HOWEVER, it’s also better than most other Thai restaurants around.
We went for dinner and were impressed with both the food and the service.Moo kho ,the crispy pork belly was perfectly crispy and full of flavor paired very well with the drinks.
Everything we ordered was made with fresh ingredients and infused with the aroma of house-made seasonings.the service was attentive
