Pistachio Café in New Haven is an absolute gem and quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in the area. We tried the Pistachio Latte and the Almond Latte, and both were outstanding — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The baklava and the cashew‑nut cake were equally impressive, with fresh flavors that paired perfectly with the coffee.
The ambience is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in. Parking is conveniently available in the paid lot right next door, which is a big plus for this part of town. The location itself has a great energy and feels perfect for a casual hangout or a quiet coffee break.
If I had to point out anything, the decorated seating area could have been a bit cleaner — our table had some dust — and the service was slightly slow. But honestly, given that their specialty drinks take time to prepare, it didn’t feel like a major drawback.
Overall, Pistachio Café delivers fantastic coffee, delicious desserts, and a lovely atmosphere. With just a little more attention to cleanliness, it would be flawless. Still, it’s absolutely worth visiting for the drinks and the vibe alone.
My daughter and I went to the location on Chapel in New Haven. I had the pistachio latte, and she had the rose latte. Both were very good, even on what was a very hot day (Thank you, Lydia!) We also ordered lunch and dessert. It was pretty busy, but Alexa (😊), our server, was pleasant and didn't rush us. When finished, she even packed up our leftovers and brought out a bag to help carry. We appreciate that extra thought as we were also carrying out coffee and waters. Will come again.

First time here. Food was artistically presented and delicious. My friend and I shared brunch meals. We had salmon tartine and rose waffles with a rose latte and a honey ginger latte. All were yummy. Atmosphere relaxed and cozy. Highly recommend!

Super cute!!! Great vibes but we wanted to eat and it was really confusing. We had to go to the center of the shop to wait for a hostess to seat us then once we sat down we had to go back to the same place to order. I dunno!?!?? They wouldn't give us a real cup of water. We had to use tiny little water cups and refill them a billion times which isn't the end of the world. The shawarma wrap had pretty good flavor but was dry. The pecan bar was really good. I think if you go for a something baked and a drink it would probably be great. Don't think I'd go back for real food though.

This place had great sweets and service. The barista made really nice cappuchino drawing. The pistachio cake was really good. I had issue with cleanliness of the space and seats. That's why 4 stars.
