I had the pleasure of being invited by Taniya to try this new restaurant in SoHo. They just opened yesterday so I was delighted to be one of the first to check the spot out. I love trying new cuisines and this restaurant sits at the top of my list currently after my experience today. The wait staff were amazing and management really knew hospitality through and through. Everyone was well dressed, had positive attitudes and the aesthetic of the restaurant was pristine. When I arrived I was guided to the lounge which is a beautiful bar and seating area where you can enjoy a drink or bite to eat while waiting for your table or party to be ready. Once the party arrived we were seated and throughout the dining experience I was introduced to several wait and management staff. They were all amazing but I have to say that as far as management is concerned, Damien the General Manager was a complete joy and really made sure the experience was of quality from beginning to end. Eliza was consistently checking in and ensured that our experience was superb. For dinner the party ordered a plethora of drinks and dishes off the menu. This included the cocktails ancho problem, melon drama, soft launch spritz, colomba, and an old fashioned. It was all refreshing, tasty, and the drinks are made very well. The entrees included the calamari fritti, parmigiano gelato, polpettini, romana, carbonara, amatriciana, gnocchi, pomodoro, and a special chicken dish that I unfortunately forgot the name of. The food was so delicious! And as you can see we had a lot of selections on the menu. All of which were satisfying. I suggest anyone who is looking for a great new restaurant in NYC that’s also in a perfect neighborhood to go out in visit this restaurant as soon as you can! This won’t be my last time dining there!
