A definite 5 stars across the board. A great experience from the moment you walk in and are seated at your table Staff are very curtious and attentive to your needs. If you've booked a head like we did several months beforehand they will make sure like me if you have an allergies or any food intolerances the menu is adjusted or a suitable substitute coarse is provided. They checked twice once to make sure in my case nothing had changed allergy wise and a second time nearer the date you were still attending the meal. The meal its self was just fabulous from start to finish. There are 3 lunch menus; 1. Experience No.1 (7 coarse) 2. Experience No.2 (2 or 3 coarse) 3. Seasonal lunch (Camel Valley Chardonnay) Soup Scones, Main, Sweet.) Highly recommended... Thank you to James with the little talk upstairs (Sweets / Pastry Kitcken). Went for lunch yesterday 😋 and chose from the a la carte menu. Absolutely fabulous food from beginning to end. The little lamb rib and the consomme with the chicken were standout. From the personalised menus to the trip to the kitchen an experience to be enjoyed.

Absolutely phenomenal. Was quite a while back that we went for a 5th anniversary. The staff and food were incredible. We weren't aware that we got a goody back at the end, upon leaving the staff chased us out of the door to provide it. Whilst expensive, you get exactly what you pay for.

Thank you for such a lovely experience for my birthday, I will remember this forever, such a lovely meal, amazing staff, and the extra treats made it so special. Loved the extra experience in the pastry kitchen, the goodie bag and chatting to the most lovely chef who made the best dessert ever, the delicious passion fruit soufflé. We sat and chatted with him for about 25 minutes whilst he still prepared the desserts. Paul Ainsworth you have the most amazing team, they are a true credit to you, all of them. Wow Paul Ainsworth @ no 6 has been on my list of must go restaurants for quite some time so I had quite high expectations . After eating there last night for our 13 year anniversary,, ( thank you for the card ) all I can say is wow . we selected the tasting menu. The food was stunning with my favourite course being the crab with a tomato consommé closely followed by the lamb even my partner enjoyed the sweetbread which accompanied the lamb.( which he swore he would never eat ) Every course surprised the tastebuds and left flavours bouncing around in your mouth. The staff are outstanding Lauren ( sommelier) with her exceptional product knowledge as well as recommending a beautiful wine also came to my rescue after a wardrobe malfunction moment ( zip broke in the back of my jumpsuit ) after trying to help unsuccessfully then offered me her jacket to wear for the rest of the evening which I was extremely grateful for so I would like to say a massive thank you ❤️Lauren you saved my modesty which meant I could still enjoy the rest of my evening.id also like to mention Beth who has only been working there 3 weeks but again her product knowledge was very good and the rest of the staff for making our anniversary unforgettable . We will most definitely be back Thank you guys
