Oxomoco

I finally got to try a restaurant on my bucket list and man was it worth the hype!!! For context, I have been to Oaxaca, Mexico and have been in search of food that meets the quality, taste and freshness that I experienced in that region. This place is the best bet in the city. Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty but the chocolate cake blew my mind!!! The drinks too. Service was amazing, attentive without being smothering. Never felt rushed (which sometimes happens in busy/popular restaurants)

Went there with my wife and daughter and what a lovely time. Talk about Mexican elevated yet soulfull food and service. We ordered guacamole taco salad, tacos and salsas, octopus and lamb tacos and beef birria tacos. Let me start with the guacamole...it was just perfect and the some made tacos were, fried and excellent. The salsas were lovely especially the habanero and the Chile which contained more than one type and it was evident. I ended up slurping the habanero salsa with a spoon, it was that good. The octopus was sublime and the lamb and beef tacos were out of this world. The dessert was a chocolate fudge with ice cream and God knows what but it was heaven on earth....just great food and warm service....this is a place I would eat at everyday if I could...love it love it love it.

Great service and atmosphere. Their restrooms are disco balls haha. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was great. We ordered the Shrimp Ceviche and Tuna Tostadas. We also ordered their in house Guac and the Aguachile. Definitely a must try place!

This Mexican eatery is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Lock in your reservations since apparently it’s extremely difficult to secure one. Restaurant was beautiful aesthetically from the countertops, to the decorative plants hanging from the ceiling. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended all of our dishes and it was absolutely delicious. This Michelin Star restaurant has earned their awards consistently and it’s very telling why. If you want to travel to the 70’s use their bathroom and you’ll see. The wagyu steak sauce could be replaced with something more flavorful. I would have paired it with something other than potatoes but the sauce accompanied with the potatoes was delicious. The lamb Barbacoa tacos were excellent. The drink was tasty. As we ended our experience, the server became slightly inattentive and handed us our check without asking other than that excellent food and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We came here for a brunch at Oxomoco this past Sunday, and wow, what an amazing experience. We started off with the guacamole, then with oysters followed by many other delicious plates such as the Caviar Tuna (out of this world), lamb barbacoa tacos (a must), Steak tacos, and papas bravas. Thank you Oxomoco for providing and organizing an amazing experience for my guests and I and having amazing tasteful food.
