Out Of Ordi

Out of Ordi was worth the hype! We arrived 10 minutes before opening on a Tuesday -- there were ~6 people in line, but the line rapidly grew to 30+ before the shop opened. The salt bread display is gorgeous and I wanted to try everything! The corn creme and the creamy cloud were both delicious, with loads of fluffy cream in pillowy yet crispy bread. I would recommend starting to eat from the side the cream was injected, otherwise you might end up with a mess! The super matcha had really tasty matcha cream, but the bread was more dense/tough than the regular dough, perhaps due to the matcha mixed in. I wouldn't choose this over the others as is. The mentaiko had great smoky cod roe flavor, and the right ratio of filling to bread. It was a nice savory relief from the sweet creamy breads that we got. Overall I was very happy with my experience here. The salt bread on its own is fresh and executed very well, and the fillings are perfection!

Finally, it has been a long time that I waited to get a chance and come to this place. Extraordinary salt bread, I love it. Bought 2 Ube Aura Salt bread (new ) 1 pistachio salt bread and 1 Ordi Original salt bread. They’re delicious, so yummy. No wonder lines here are always long but this time I came by not really long and it’s worth the wait. Fresh baked daily. The people so works here are nice and the owners are really friendly couple. 👍🏻

I’ve been wanting to try Out of Ordi for a while, so I lined up right at their 11:30 AM opening time on weekend and waited about 30 minutes to get inside. Inside were clean and modern. I ended up trying 8 different flavors of their signature salt bread right away. Overall, the savory options stood out to me much more than the dessert/sweet ones. My absolute favorite was the Ordi Original—it was incredibly buttery and perfectly crispy. Here is my personal ranking from most favorite to least favorite: 1 ORDI ORIGINAL 2 MENTA 3 SUPER MATCHA 4 TRIPLE TRUFFLE 5 CORN CREME 6 UBE AURA 7 YUZU-HAE 8 PISTACHIO BOMB Eat them right away! While they are still good the next day, they aren't quite as soft as they are when fresh.

OUT OF ORDI completely lived up to the hype. My wife and I visited from Miami and tried 8 different salt breads, and every single one was incredible. The texture, flavor, quality, and creativity behind each bread was honestly inspiring and perfection, even the drinks. We didn’t have to wait that long Saturday getting there early, but even if it was 1hr it’d still be worth it. As fellow cafe owners, we especially appreciated seeing another young husband-and-wife style business building something this special. Thank you for creating something so unique and memorable. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in LA and wish all the success.

Small modern cute coffee & salt bread pick-up atmosphere with cute merch. A wide variety of delicious viral Korean salt bread. There are limit of 8 per customers and we tried almost all flavors. Very delicious and cute merch variety. Strongly recommend the viral Korean salt bread! There maybe a wait but line moves pretty fast and totally worth it!
