Wow!! Always wanted to go but every time I would think about it, it was booked. I finally found a 5:00pm reservation and when we showed up there was a line outside. It moved quickly once the doors opened and everyone was dressed casual and some were walk ins. Our waiter said they offer counter service for walk ins. They had a card for our anniversary waiting when we arrived and we got a cute booth in the main room. We started with a cosmo martini and old fashion- both tasted great and have a nice kick. We ordered the bone in ribeye which was cooked perfectly and over an open fire which gives it that crispy putter edge. The steak was the best I’ve had in LA so far.. also had the popular fettuccine Alfredo and it was again cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. They also bring out complementary sourdough bread and butter, and water. They brought us a brownie dessert with a scoop of ice cream and candle for our anniversary and we also ordered the crème brûlée which had that amazing break thru crust, and was plenty for 2 of us. Our server was Nick and he was amazing!! We will for sure be back.
This was a very cool place and a trip into Hollywood folklore. This is Hollywood's oldest restaurant dating back to 1919! This was a bucket list experience for us. We were in town for a few shows on the strip and met up with my cousin that suggested we eat here and i'm glad we did! That onion soup and the filet were both great!! Great food, great ambience and great service too. Definitely hit this joint up while you're here!

A classic Hollywood experience. I ordered the onion soup and the filet mignon with a baked potato—everything was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and the soup was rich and flavorful. The waiters were very well trained and professional, which made the service feel polished and attentive.
The interior design is old and magnificent, giving the restaurant a timeless atmosphere that really adds to the experience. The complimentary bread and butter were also good, although the bread could have been a bit fresher. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and a great place to enjoy a classic meal on Hollywood Boulevard.

I heard so much hype of this place. Ill say the history is fantastic the vibe is amazing and the service is stellar. The food is less to be desired. Me personally I don't like to drink but I have been told they have excellent martinis. I came here to eat and their onion soup was amazing the meat itself was just okay. For the price I paid I would expected more. For the history alone, it's a place to stop by.

My wife and I finally had the opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank, and the experience exceeded every expectation we had.
We had an 8:30 PM reservation, and although they had already sold out of the famous prime rib, our waiter Robert recommended the bone-in pork chop instead. It turned out to be an outstanding recommendation—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and one of the best pork chops I’ve had.
My wife ordered the scallops, and they were absolutely phenomenal. We both agreed they were some of the best scallops we’ve ever had.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous dirty martini, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. It paired perfectly with the meal and is a must-order for anyone visiting.
We finished the evening with the crème brûlée, which was easily among the best we’ve ever had. The caramelized sugar had the perfect crack, and the custard was rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced.
What truly made the evening special was the service. Robert was attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to answer every question we had without ever making us feel rushed. His recommendations made an already memorable dinner even better.
From the classic atmosphere to the exceptional food and impeccable hospitality, it’s easy to understand why Musso & Frank has remained a Los Angeles institution for more than a century.
This won’t be our last visit. Thank you to Robert and the entire team for an unforgettable evening.
