When visiting Morrisons in Peckham it is a great experience. As the staff are always professional but most importantly very friendly and helpful. Their positive attitude means that I personally always like to shop there. Especially staff members Janet, Jennifer, the other cashiers, the staff on the fresh food aisles, including the cleaners that work alongside them. Ten stars for all staff members.
Morrisons should be proud that even their security staff greet us shoppers and that the team there should be rewarded for their great work ethic. I rarely see the managers so all credit goes to the shop floor staff.
So they have cameras positioned so they're directly in your face everywhere now. Not just overhead to keep track of humans in general, no, strategically positioned so they can scan your face. Unfortunately I didn't photograph the fruit & veg section which is worse.
All this to track everything you do, make a profile on you etc. Eventually you might even be lucky enough to have the AI mistake you for someone else (yes this did happen before). Ironically the only way I'd shop here now is with either a hoodrat or Hollywood style mask, or at least a hat and sunglasses that block infrared.
Or you know, not at all. But how long until it's impossible to buy food without having your face scanned by some corpo AI

I get everything what I was looking for and lit bit more. Both some plants for very good price very happy. I really like Morison fresh meet and fish selection. And I must to say I never been disappointed with fruit and vegetables freshness

I just wanted to share some feedback about the Peckham Morrisons.
I shop at Tesco and Sainsbury’s quite a bit and have had some really good experiences there, but honestly, the team at Peckham Morrisons stands out even more.
There’s just a really nice atmosphere in the store. For example, today at the self-checkouts, one of the staff was singing with a couple of customers while helping them scan their shopping. It sounds small, but it genuinely lifted the mood and made the whole experience feel really positive.
A couple of days ago, one of the cashiers was so friendly and chatty, it actually put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. That kind of service really sticks with you.
I know Peckham isn’t always the easiest place to work, but your front-line staff, especially the women on the tills and self-checkouts, are brilliant. They bring a lot of energy and warmth, and it makes a big difference. They’re definitely your magic ingredient.
I’ll be honest, there is one long-standing member of staff who’s not quite as cheerful, but maybe it’s best he sticks to collecting baskets!
Just wanted to say thank you and recognise the team, you’ve got something really good there.

Months ago there were issues with the chillers and there were very limited fresh food. I had to switch to Sainsburys in New Cross Gate, but it’s a longer walk for me.
Went in there today and the chillers are still not working. Was going to do my main shop but very limited fresh food once again. It looked like the shelves were cleared ready for a store closure.
