The odd thing is the vegetarian items we ordered were the best dishes. The apple water crest walnuts salad was delicious especially the vinaigrette, the ingredients were finely sliced giving it a nice texture. Also ordered the “plated corned beef” with some challah bread + 2 kinds of Israeli beers.
Probably the best burger I ever had. It was cooked just right. First bite juices were everywhere. Just like you'd want a great delicious thick hamburger to be. The guy in charge 100% service with a smile. Boy was the service fast. 5 minutes and my burger was out steaming hot. Will stop by next time. I'm in Tel Aviv for sure!

Started well, ended horribly. The gentlemen behind the bar were good natured, helpful and attentive. The wine burger served with bone marrow topped with roasted mushroom was very tasty; I wish however that I had held out for puree (mash) as the McDonalds-style fries did not do the meat any favors. The complementary cup of garbanzo and lentil soup with a basket of bouncing fresh bread was a great way to start the meal; the bread pudding a lousy way to end it as the latter was the creation of a chef who doesn't understand or approve of bread pudding, trying to make it crunchy and dry for some reason. The tea that could have washed it down tasted more strongly of the chlorine in the water than its dried-out bergamot.
What impels my low grades, however, are the nastiness and stupidity of three women who should not be employed in the service industry: the waitress who brought another diner to be seated and shoved my dessert plate unceremoniously across the bar and barked at me to move my bag; the maitresse d' who demanded to know what was wrong when I asked her to just take payment and let me leave; and the unctuous, clueless manager, chatting with friends on the sidewalk, who also felt entitled to detailed explanations of all "my problems" without discarding the cigarette smoldering in my face. The restaurant is otherwise so stylish and accommodating - snazzy bathrooms, stunning array of liquor atop its mirrored bar, sophisticated-looking fellow diners. My advice: Fire the women.

The only criticism I can give is that the large steak is not cut evenly so it cannot be cooked evenly. And sending back a steak to be cooked again when it is like 400 shekel is not ok.
Also I forgive Shai for not having any olives in the restaurant because he is an amazing server. I have a place for him in my restaurant if he wants to move to Canada
