Beautiful place and very easy to find. We went for afternoon tea and really enjoyed it—loved that it was a bit different from the traditional afternoon tea, which made it feel more interesting.
I also appreciated that my dietary requirements were taken into account without any issues. The waitress and waiter were both very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout.
The only small downside was the outside area. There was some rubbish around the entrance—not necessarily from the restaurant—but it does affect the first impression, so it would be nice if that was kept a bit tidier.
Overall, a lovely experience. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily come back.
Attended a Japanese whisky experience with a friend - would recommend (and do it again!) eyes closed. Without giving away the whole story, we started with a JP whisky highball, tried three different whiskies neat and ended with a JP gin-based cocktail. I really enjoyed being walked through the 100-year old history of whisky in Japan, explained what constituted an official Japanese whisky, though the cherry on top was of course the tasting of three very different whiskies (mostly from house of Suntory). Melissa was amazing, great story-teller!
My friend and I had a wonderful time, left feeling very happy - please make sure you bring water with you for after the tasting session, you'll need to hydrate yourself (on top of the water refills offered throughout the tasting).

I took my brother here to do the Japanese Whisky tasting masterclass they do, as a present, and we had a fantastic time! Lovely small group (just 4 of us), made the afternoon really personal. Melissa who talked us through it was absolutely amazing. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgable! We could have sat and talked the night away, she was so wonderful. We stayed and had a couple more drinks and some food afterwards which was delicious, and we loved the feel of the bar. Being small can sometimes feel overcrowded, but the lay out was brilliant, so everyone had their own space, it wasn’t too noisy, yet just the right amount between everyone that it felt a friendly place to be. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we’ll be back soon!
