Liberty Ridge Farm

Liberty Ridge Farm is one of the most kid-friendly places you'll find in the Capital Region. There is always something going on, and if you plan on visiting more than once or twice a year, the season pass is absolutely worth it. Between the Strawberry Festival, Blueberry Festival, Sunflower Festival, and the massive Fall Festival, there's no shortage of things to do. The Fall Festival alone feels like a month-long celebration with enough attractions to keep kids entertained for hours. The farm features dozens of family activities and seasonal events throughout the year. The food is surprisingly good for an attraction like this. Whether you're grabbing lunch, snacks, or treats while spending the day there, the quality is consistently better than expected. My biggest complaint is the food service on busy weekends. The wait times can be extremely long—sometimes approaching an hour from the time you place your order until you receive your food. With live music playing, it can also be nearly impossible to hear your name being called when your order is ready. The combination of long waits and difficulty hearing pickup announcements can be frustrating, especially when you have hungry kids with you. Overall, I highly recommend Liberty Ridge Farm for families. The festivals, attractions, and overall experience make it a place we return to year after year. If they can improve and streamline the food ordering and pickup process, it would easily be a five-star experience.
