Recommended by a friend, this deli/sausage co/restaurant is a place I would frequent if I lived here. It's served cafeteria style where you grab a tray and order whatever you want.
In my case I got a Ukrainian sausage (Ukrainian style) and a cup of Borshch. The soup was probably the best I've ever had. I liked the sausage a lot but I'm not huge on mayo so the Ukrainian style didn't really suit me, but I wanted to try it. It was still really good. I was going to go back for a pierogi, but was too full.
I wish I had more time in Minneapolis to come back here a dozen more times and try everything. There's so much on the menu that I'll never get a chance to eat. Highly recommend of you're in Minneapolis.
First time trying Polish/Ukrainian foods and they were sooo good! Took home halva and chocolate chips cookies, and they were delicious! We also got their beef jerky and they definitely tasted like homemade! Can't wait to fry the perogies!!! This place is absolutely worth coming back for!
Every time I come to town I have to stock up on the German style noodles, favorite is the Black Forest style and the Farmers style. They taste like the homemade noodles my mom use to make. Today we had lunch to go. So delicious! Some of the best sauerkraut I have ever had. Little pieces of sausage in it, exceptional! It was busy but service is fast and friendly. I joke I drive 6 hours to buy their noodles and sausage!
I do not often enjoy coleslaw but this is the BEST coleslaw that has ever blessed my taste buds! And the mashed potatoes were absolutely fantastic (I do recommend getting gravy for them though!) And the cake with te chocolate rolls on the outside is delicious dense yet moist cake and fluffy frosting not too sweet but just sweet enough! 10/10 delicious I do recommend!!!
Place was amazing. Very unique food being from Arizona i really wanted to try this place. Highly recommend the Cabbage Roll and Potato Cheese Pierogi. Finished off lunch with a slice of Walnut Torte cake. Service was great and the atmosphere was friendly. You will not be disappointed if visiting from out of town. The locals must know they have a gem as the line was out the door! Go try and come back. Wish I had more time in town to eat again before my flight out of town
