I loved how comfortable and welcoming the environment felt..it made the whole experience really enjoyable. The food was so good, full of flavor, and the portions were huge. I couldn’t even finish my plate! I’d definitely come back.
Sad to hear that they are closing and probably know the reason. Haven't made it to their new location, so decided to come and check it out. We're the first one in line and had to let ourselves in at 11am. The host, waitress who was there greeted by saying sit over there. Ok, since we already knew what we wanted, she came by only to open the bill fold and say QR Code for menu. Before I could stop her in her tracks, she was already greeting other patrons who made their way in.
After trying to get her attention and seeing a lady with a toddler approach the bar area and she gladly took her order, I decided to jump behind her. As soon as she saw me, she said I'll be at your table which she didn't, she went to greet and interact with another table. We are on a lunch break so we were hoping being the first and knowing what we wanted wouldn't be so difficult.
I guess perhaps we were the only latinos customers besides the workers in the back making the food.
Yes maybe they ran their course and they truly need more help. Made our way to Ole who greets and acknowledges everyone the same.
As you can see, we made our way to Ole's where there was a line for a Monday morning and you would think this place was closing. Both sides were full but you know what we were greeted and welcomed. Service and food was top notch.
I haven’t been here in a while. I got Keith’s Tackle with a sweet tea. Everything was good, the wings, waffle, and Mac and cheese were cooked perfectly. My sweet tea was the right amount of sweetness. The music was fun too, I sang along to most of the songs. I really don’t have any complaints and will definitely be back. (I don’t have a picture of my food because I was too hungry, my bad)
I was craving soul food and this restaurant did not miss!! The chicken was crispy and seasoned. The waffle was absolutely delicious and had the perfect texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! The sides (cornbread, greens and mac and cheese) also were also delicious! Our waitress was so sweet and the owner was very kind as well! The RnB Music definitely set the vibe. I love that this was a restaurant with a place to dine in and not just take out. We will definitely be back soon!
