We walked past the restaurant a few days earlier and caught the smell coming from the pizza oven in the kitchen, which immediately made us decide that we wanted to come back for dinner. The restaurant itself is very charming and nicely designed, so naturally we arrived with high expectations. We were seated outside and had a beautiful setting overlooking the monument and church nearby. We ordered drinks and pizzas, and our drinks arrived very quickly. The pizzas took a little longer, around 30 minutes, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy either inside or outside. When they arrived, the pizzas were good: large, elongated, with a crispy crust and nicely prepared. That said, the prices felt slightly higher than what I would normally expect for this type of pizza. After finishing our meal, a young waiter cleared the table and we asked for the bill. We then experienced another wait, which felt close to 30 minutes, before asking an older waiter who kindly brought it almost immediately. One thing that surprised us was the €2.50 per person cover charge for sitting at the restaurant. I understand that this can be common in some places, but these unexpected extra charges can leave guests feeling slightly caught off guard. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a beautiful atmosphere and good food. We enjoyed our evening, but considering the pricing, we had expected a little more in terms of service speed and overall experience.
