I decided to try Emili’s Crafted Pasta before a theatre show after reading the Google reviews of nearby restaurants. Once again, Google reviewers didn’t disappoint! 😊
Based on the recommendation from the team, I ordered the Béchamel Bolognese Pappardelle, and it was absolutely outstanding. Everything was spot on—the tenderness of the beef, the perfectly cooked fresh pappardelle, the seasoning, and the richness of the cheese all came together beautifully. Watching the chefs prepare every pasta dish fresh in front of you adds to the whole experience. I also had the rocket salad on the side, which was fresh, simple, and a great complement to the pasta.
I’d read so many great things about the tiramisu that I had to try it. Personally, I’ve had better. They use a more modern, fusion-style recipe, which wasn’t quite to my taste. That said, if you enjoy creative twists on classic desserts, you’ll probably appreciate it.
If I had to mention one downside, I was genuinely surprised that there was no Wi-Fi available!
Finally, a special mention to the team. The service was exceptional—throughout the meal they checked in on us so many times to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests.
I would happily recommend this place and will definitely be back next time I’m in Canary Wharf.
🍝 I finally tried Emilia’s Pasta 🇮🇹
And now you should too 😉
📍Canary Wharf, London
👏 After being on my list of restaurants to visit for over a year, I finally got the chance to visit @emiliaspasta. It was in my “Canary Wharf” saved folder 4 times because so many of you foodies had convinced me to go.
🍅 We shared the bruschetta and some toasted sourdough to start. The bruschetta was really fresh and a mix of colourful tomatoes. We were given extra oil and balsamic to dip the bread in too.
Our mains arrived when we still had the starters so I could use it to mop up my pasta sauce. I didn’t mind that so much but the table for two was full of dishes 🤣
🍝 I ordered the homemade tomato sauce with basil and topped with a 100g ball of burrata. The pasta shape was “Radiatori” which I hadn’t tried before. Its ridges filled up with the sauce and each mouthful with a bit of burrata was incredible. Creamy, fresh and I wish I was eating it again now. 😍
🍝 Faye ordered the Truffled Cacio E Pepe. Usually I get this dish.. you know that, but I don’t love truffle so didn’t chance it. Faye loved it. She said it was really peppery, and the truffle wasn’t that strong (but I could still smell it🫣).
🍹 We didn’t have room for dessert, but I’ll take time to praise the Aperol Spritz because obviously I had to order one 💁♀️
🧐 The restaurant had a very busy atmosphere, and I did feel slightly rushed to choose my food and when the mains came out before starters were finished but I guess that’s the hustle and bustle of Canary Wharf so I’ll let them off 🤷♀️

Delicious! Fabulous attentive service from Fadi who ran through the menu & added to choices by suggesting chilli oil 😃 pasta was deliciously fresh & sauce beautifully rich. We shared the cold meats & focaccia to start. Pleasantly full but not uncomfortably so - definitely now #inarelationshipwithpasta. Would 100% recommend 👏
Great food! This restaurant has plenty of seating but a reservation is highly recommended. Service was a bit slow but the food makes up for it. Limited non veg options.
The ambience was so relaxed, and the service very nice!! Especially, Fadi was very vocal and engaged us to try some dishes especially desserts!! I tried Pancotta, which was so refreshing. The pistachio pesto was amazing. Overall a good Italian go to place ❤️
